I would not get the roast beef poboy again. It tastes awesome but today’s roast beef poboy was so sloppy I had to eat it with a fork. Fries were fresh and crispy. We had great service and they were very welcoming. Prices are very reasonable down to the drinks. I’d probably go back but try something else.

We have enjoyed their roast beef poboys since they open. We moved to Kansas a few years ago and there is nothing like it. We are coming home for the weekend and we will be there for one. We are even bringing some visitors from Kansas. We have one person from Kansas that has already been there and loves them and loves the Cajun life.

Best poboys in the area. I'm usually a classic shrimp poboy guy, but that roast beef is delicious; messy as can be, but delicious.
We had an awesome experience here for our first meal in Louisiana. I feel like it was the perfect way to start our visit and we will definitely be back. The girls running the show were awesome and it genuinely felt like we were getting the authentic locals experience. We all loved what we ordered and the value was, incredible.

I was determined to find the perfect shrimp po’boy while visiting Louisiana and this amazing little place delivered. We ended up making the detour two days in a row because I liked it so much.The shrimp po’boy was a revelation. Coming from the mountain west, I have never had popcorn shrimp that plump, fresh and perfectly battered. The fish sandwich I had the next day was equally good. And don’t just take my word for it — many of the diners appeared to be locals whose orders the manager already knew. She greeted everybody with friendliness and familiarity without sacrificing speed of service.I’m so glad we made this stop. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Houma, Louisiana, I hope you find your way to Bayou Blue Po-boys.
