“My cookies were amazing! Everything tasted really great. My only suggestion would be to ask the employees to work on greeting people as they walk in and acknowledge them before calling out their name for their order because I walked in and stood at the pick up counter for about 2-3minutes before they called my name out for my order. There was about 4-5 workers but no one greeted or acknowledged me prior.”

“Stop by Waffle House 06/16/2024 for quick breakfast while traveling service were very poor receive eggs, hashbrowns and toast no bacon told us we would get it in a few minutes ten minutes later receive bacon no waffles that came with the order finish eating twenty minutes later than waitress bring waffles ask if we wanted to take it home with us and the rest of the bacon could not believe she said that , saying they are working on the problem and the to go order go out faster ,it sound like they have a serious problem need to get rid of all there cooks and hire new ones won't be going there again.”

Had Jared as our waiter who, after being told it was our first time, warmly welcomed us to the Bayou County Cafe and walked us through the menu. When we fumbled though a few things he repeated it back to make sure he understood us and that we got the right things.

The food was amazing. The biscuit!!!! When they set my plate down I thought it was two biscuits stacked up. NOPE! It was just one tall fluffy biscuit! So soft and buttery. The grits too. I dont like grits much but they came with the meal so I got em. I would order them on my own if they didnt come with the meal. So creamy and perfect!

The atmosphere is very calming and homey. Feel like your back at mommas eating a meal. Cute lil store too with shirts, sweets, jewelry, and more.

Will definitely be back and try out the lunch next time!”

The offer chairs on the front patio if you'd like to site outside. There's a back door as well. I didn't go out there, so I'm not sure if there's more setting in the back or not. Overall, cool atmosphere, friendly bartender, and good selection of drinks. ATM is available inside if needed.”

“This was my choice for Father’s Day lunch, I always did enjoy the burgers here. I heard they had new owners and I was nervous about my experience because of my expectations that I had previously. I was not disappointed every thing was cook great and the burger standard was met and this is place still after all the years I been coming here, they still have the BEST burgers in town.

Our server was great brought coloring pages for the kids, kept our drinks full, and was very colorful.

We had got there when it 1st open so it was very quiet but it didn’t last long the place was full before 1130 so it picked up but still was nice.”
