“Just stopped here for the first time and got a late breakfast. Had Jared as our waiter who, after being told it was our first time, warmly welcomed us to the Bayou County Cafe and walked us through the menu. When we fumbled though a few things he repeated it back to make sure he understood us and that we got the right things.

The food was amazing. The biscuit!!!! When they set my plate down I thought it was two biscuits stacked up. NOPE! It was just one tall fluffy biscuit! So soft and buttery. The grits too. I dont like grits much but they came with the meal so I got em. I would order them on my own if they didnt come with the meal. So creamy and perfect!

The atmosphere is very calming and homey. Feel like your back at mommas eating a meal. Cute lil store too with shirts, sweets, jewelry, and more.

Will definitely be back and try out the lunch next time!”

“Omg! Poppyseed chicken salad wrap. Y’all if y’all have never eaten here you need to try this place everything is absolutely amazing for appetizers. We had the queso dip, Boudin balls, and the pretzel. I love the Cajun German mustard dip. Last time I had their grilled pork chop, it was divine!”
