Just stopped here for the first time and got a late breakfast. Had Jared as our waiter who, after being told it was our first time, warmly welcomed us to the Bayou County Cafe and walked us through the menu. When we fumbled though a few things he repeated it back to make sure he understood us and that we got the right things.

Best beignets I’ve ever had. Country breakfast was 10/10. Eggs were soft, biscuit was fluffy and fresh, grits and hash browns were perfectly cooked, and the portion size was phenomenal for $8. Customer service was friendly. They have a no tipping policy because they pride themselves on paying their employees well.

I never review restaurants but this one is honestly so good, if your ever on the east side area please stop by and give them a try. They have great food for great prices and all 3 of us left completely full. Staff is so great theyre so happy and energetic
