“531 Liberty Cafe is a charming spot serving comforting American cuisine, and it quickly became a favorite of mine. I ordered the honey-lemon chicken with corn grits, and it was absolutely amazing — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and wonderfully balanced. The atmosphere has that “great little place” feel: cozy, welcoming, and relaxed. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, stopping by just the right amount to make sure you have everything you need without ever feeling rushed. Fabulous food, warm service, and a comfortable setting make 531 Liberty Cafe a must-visit.“

“Some things were reasonably priced while others were over priced! I have a chef salad and it was fresh and good! One ranch was a little too watery. My fiance has the seafood plate and he said it was delicious. My daughter wanted cheese sticks which were over $11 for 4 cheese sticks! It was quiet, laid back! I loved walking in to a time zone! I loved the mini jut-boxes! Over all it was a great experience!!“

“Just stopped here for the first time and got a late breakfast. Had Jared as our waiter who, after being told it was our first time, warmly welcomed us to the Bayou County Cafe and walked us through the menu. When we fumbled though a few things he repeated it back to make sure he understood us and that we got the right things.
The food was amazing. The biscuit!!!! When they set my plate down I thought it was two biscuits stacked up. NOPE! It was just one tall fluffy biscuit! So soft and buttery. The grits too. I dont like grits much but they came with the meal so I got em. I would order them on my own if they didnt come with the meal. So creamy and perfect!
The atmosphere is very calming and homey. Feel like your back at mommas eating a meal. Cute lil store too with shirts, sweets, jewelry, and more.
Will definitely be back and try out the lunch next time!“
