Paid 55$ for snow crabs and waiting 45 minutes and when they came out the snow crabs was cold and over cooked you couldn’t pull them out the shell and the legs just bent like rubber and wouldn’t snap in half and the potato’s wasn’t cooked all the way the sausage and corn was good tho but don’t recommend it for the price your gonna pay but the server was great and the sauces was good but I recommend at all

Receptionist at hotel recommended this place for oysters. The raw oysters were great! And the oyster poboy was overflowing with perfectly cooked oysters. My daughter loved the shrimp pasta. Waitress was so friendly and attentive. If ever in town again, this will be a definite stop!

I am here twice a week for the last 10 years at least. I love this place. Taylor is my Thursday server, Megan on Saturdays, and Allyssa fills in when we can. Awesome service, great food.

Gator tail $13.95 for a very small appetizer portion and way to salty to eat. The gumbo (sausage and chicken) and corn nuggets are both very delicious and reasonably priced.

Pasta was rice a roni. Literally. The garlic bread was sliced bread with no garlic at all. Ham and cheese sandwich had square yellow kraft cheese and was served on a burned hamburger bun. Side salad was a bowl of lettuce w 4 sliced tomatoes. Hamburger steak was a frozen patty. Seafood potato was a potato w bacon bits and frozen shrimp. What happened to this place? Our bill was almost $80. This used to be our top Houma restaurant by far.

First time dining at Big Al’s. This was a lunch time dining experience. Walking in this place definitely plays into the south Louisiana theme. Cleanliness was good with tons of menu options. Service was also excellent. My fully dressed shrimp po-boy on lightly toasted French bread was excellent w/ a cup of seafood gumbo. Others with me had catfish plate and hamburger steak. They said it was also excellent. They give you a basket of assorted crackers with butter on the table to snack on while waiting on your food. This is a great touch because a lot of seafood restaurants don’t do that anymore. We will be back and found a new place to eat when in town with family & friends.

Stopped by for lunch on a weekday. Seated quickly, order taken quick, food brought fast. Excellent waitress. Food pretty good. We had a Po'boy, catfish, and fries. Prices are fair. I would return.

Awesome server, great food. They let me order a kids' oyster basket , it was a lot of food, and the oysters were cooked to perfection ! I also had a cup of gumbo ? absolutely delish and loaded with shrimp.
