Receptionist at hotel recommended this place for oysters. The raw oysters were great! And the oyster poboy was overflowing with perfectly cooked oysters. My daughter loved the shrimp pasta. Waitress was so friendly and attentive. If ever in town again, this will be a definite stop!
I am here twice a week for the last 10 years at least. I love this place. Taylor is my Thursday server, Megan on Saturdays, and Allyssa fills in when we can. Awesome service, great food.
First time dining at Big Al’s. This was a lunch time dining experience. Walking in this place definitely plays into the south Louisiana theme. Cleanliness was good with tons of menu options. Service was also excellent. My fully dressed shrimp po-boy on lightly toasted French bread was excellent w/ a cup of seafood gumbo. Others with me had catfish plate and hamburger steak. They said it was also excellent. They give you a basket of assorted crackers with butter on the table...
