It's an easy process when I choose to ship, and I was even able to order some to pick up while I was in town this last week. If you're looking for a streamlined process, this is the place to go. There's always someone there to help with picking a cake, and they even remembered me from last year!! 100/10 would recommend :)

LOVE Cannata's king cakes! While everyone has their own idea of what a perfect King Cake should be, this is our family's favorite. Every year we order the Gooey Butter Snickerdoodle. The cake itself is very dense with a light hint of sweetness that complements the sugary gooey butter filling perfectly. It pays homage to the traditional cinnamon sugar cake while providing an exciting update with the gooey filling. When we're not in town for season, we get them delivered and they always show up fresh and ready to devour.

The king cakes at Cannatas are the best in the State of Louisiana.. I have tried ALL of the ones people rave about, Randazzos, Antoine’s, Gambinos, you name it .. NO ONE can compare to Cannatas. The cakes are moist and they have a great variety of flavors for everyone !! I’d highly recommend…. Also the people who work there are so nice and accommodating.. Best is Best!!

I called the bakery to order a King's Cake and was fortunate to get a lovely lady by the name of Marion. She helped me with my order as I was having problems. I received my cake and I could not have been happier. It arrived on time and we'll packaged. The King 's Cake itself was beautiful. The service from Marion was amazing. She went above and beyond. I know the cake is as wonderful as she was. I will be ordering from Cannatas again.

Poor management!
Was told twice by phone and in person by Faith , (supervisor) that a card only was good to purchase chicken quarters products! Get back there and points and extra price if you want them in boxes was needed! Get back to the front and Faith said that she didn’t say that the card only was needed. Thought I was in twilight zone! As a paring customer, all that was needed was an apology and not a lie! Then she accused us of walking out without paying for tomatoes! We had the receipt on us!! Just went from bad to worse!!!!

I received an email offer to buy an Easter King Cake from Cannata’s.. I had been invited to an Easter dinner and decided to order the Easter King Cake from Cannata’s to bring. They gave me the option to order Thursday for a Saturday delivery to the host of the dinner. The cake did not show up Saturday and I received no notification from FEdEx with a tracking #. I called Saturday evening and the person who answered told me to call back Sunday (Easter) as someone would be in at 6AM that could answer my question about the cakes arrival. I called back Sunday and was told that department was closed. So embarrassed and humiliated I went to the store and bought a store bakery item to bring. It was disappointing as the other guests and host were looking forward to the Easter King Cake. When I called this morning I was told that there is a disclaimer that the cake could arrive after the date I indicated if FedEv delivery wasn’t available in our area. FedEx is definitely in our area. The person I spoke with was rude and did not care one bit about what I had been through. I told her to cancel my order and she said it was being delivered today. Again, I have never received any tracking info. The host of yesterdays Easter dinner said it came and said it definitely didn’t look as nice as ones I had purchased in the past. Maybe because I purchased from Randazzo’s.Beware if you’re ordering for a special occasion. Their customer service skills have much to be desired.

Wow! What a fabulous experience with Cannata’s and a sweet helpful lady named Marian. We are big fans of their Gooey Butter King Cake and wanted to have one shipped all the way to Hawaii to properly celebrate Mardi Gras Day. There was a slight shipping glitch but Marian fixed it all! Our King Cake was over-nighted at no charge and it arrived! Everyone loved it! It was fresh and delicious! They are a wonderful company and I highly recommend them!
