My husband and I first time here and it was delicious and great service! The Turkey Focccia Club was the best sandwich I ever had. Can't wait to go back to have another great experience!

This was our first time eating here. I saw they had a mufulletta sandwich on the menu, so we picked this spot.
My husband had one of their burgers (I wish I could remember which one). The burger was great, but their fries are INCREDIBLE! My sandwich was exactly what I wanted. We also tried the Sweet Potato fries, which were also outstanding. This will become a regular stop for us when visiting Houma. The portions were so large, we ended up skipping dinner that night!

The food is delicious; however, I attempted to order dinner at 5:55 but was unable to do so because they close at 7:00PM. The new business hours don’t make sense unless you eat dinner directly after getting off at 5:00PM. It would be helpful to know at what time they stop accepting orders in the afternoon as the outgoing message does not provide the information.
Very disappointing when you are craving a tropical chicken salad.

Food quality has gone way downhill in last 5 years in my experience. Went and had their shrimp salad last month and while they advertised decent sized 30 count shrimp on the FB page what I got was teeny tiny 100 count shrimp. It seems every time I go the past few years I leave disappointed. When I first started coming here around 2010 the food was always great. Just seems like they are cutting corners now to make more money and the quality has suffered.

Got sick every time I ate fried chicken. Owner doesn't actually give tips to employee's as advertised to public and is done conditionally. Also mold is in-fact just cut off the produce as mentioned by another reviewer. Only two burgers on the menu are actually hand molded, the rest are frozen. Onion rings are below par. Steak is frozen for anything that has steak on it. Only proteins that aren't frozen is chicken. None of the deserts are fresh, you're better off getting the retail price at Sam's Club for any deserts that aren't made in-house, which is maybe 3-4 deserts, Bread puddings, and banana puddings. None of the produce is truly fresh. Tap water is $1.50, and I was always embarrassed as a cashier to ring up that price for anyone. The owner himself raises his fist at workers because he himself doesn't know how to set and leave procedures for staff to follow, and gets insulted if you ask questions. Owner generally doesn't know how to speak to staff, and other former co-workers have told me he's had outburst in-front of customers. Yes, most deserts are handled barehanded when customers are not around, this isn't a problem with clean washed hands, but from what I heard and seen, there is always someone hawking spit and coughing on the grill station.

I've had my share of mistakes working here, but I'm too dedicated to cleanliness and food safety to not inform the public that goes and eats here. I enjoy food to much to see customers buy frozen food or food from the retail store and made to believe it's something made with care and actually worth their money. It's not like staff doesn't care, it's just there is no rest for any employee's to take the time to clean. Also owner most definitely takes a cut of tips, it's why he includes himself on the schedule.

tl;dr, If you want deserts from Castalano's, go to Sam's Club. If you want burgers from Castalano's, just go to Mooyah's or Wendy's instead, they use fresh seasoned beef. If you want fresh bread, learn how to bake, because there's no bakery's in Houma worth visiting. If you want to exchange money for services, do not buy services from a business owner that publicly flails their employees in front of customers.

Vegetarian options: Excellent veggie burger. Highly recommend if you're looking for vegetarian fare.

Parking: Parking depends on the time and day of the week that you dine. There's several parking spaces at the restaurant that can be tight to maneuver on busy days, but if it's a slow day, there is no issue. There is free street parking if needed or if you'd rather not maneuver a tight lot on a busy day.

This was my first time dining here, and I truly enjoyed it! I got the turkey cheddar panini with chips. It was great! My friends enjoyed the chicken parmesan and the tomato basil chicken. They both enjoyed their meals as well! I can't wait to come back and try more items!

Pretty good, but not quite as good as the original in Morgan City. Lifesaver being open on Sunday.

Even tho we left a $6 tip, the waitress did not even ask a single time if we were satisfied or needed anything. The Philly cheesesteak was absolutely disgusting and just a blob of Mayo over steak meat and you could not see an ounce of cheese. The Mayo was falling out the sides and the club sandwich was just as disappointing! $48 for two sandwiches and two drinks and a $6 tip… and couldn’t even enjoy the meal! So disappointed!!!
