I loved the taste of the cake and the amount of filling. The smoother and thinner filling on the chantilly was nice. The cake had an almond flavor, and the icing was wonderful.Based on the experience with pick up (cake was not decorated at the pick up time putting the party behind 1.5 hours). This was rectified. I would just call to double-check a day before or in the morning or put in large buffer on your plans. My buffer was still 2 hours before guests arrived.

Ordered my daughter's first birthday cake was told that it came with the smash cake (which we've ordered cakes for our other kids' first birthdays and received one so we knew it came with it) the girl asked how we wanted the smash cake and all . 2 weeks later we go to pickup the cakes and the same girl told us it didn't come with the smash cake so I contacted them over fb and then called them and the "manager" called me a liar over the phone saying the girl didn't tell me that it didn't come with the smash cake and repeatedly said she didn't believe what I was saying. How professional is that?

This bakery is the best I've ever been too! The cakes we ordered for my son and husbands birthday are literally the best we have ever tasted! The design is incredible! See the pictures ~ no one could ever make these taste as good as they look ~ and they more than did! Best ever! The ordering process is also the easiest ~ I described what I had in mind and they went above my expectations ~ just amazing!

Decent cakes and baked goods. Great customer service. I found they were a bit pricy for the birthday cakes I ordered. I probably won’t order a cake again but would definitely walk in for some little treats through out the year!

Everyone working was knowledgeable and friendly. I was surprised at how good the prices are for a gourmet hand made cake! I did visit a few cake shops and grocery stores and Chez Cake Bakery had the best prices as well as the best tasting! I found it easy to find on St Charles Street in Houma and there's a handicapped ramp leading up to the business. There's also cakes pre-made to buy which I love
