I come here twice a year. For my son and my daughters birthday. I usually don't have a issue but this time I requested something other than what was shown on the website. I saw they had a red convertible car on the website so i called and asked if they could do a four door car with the top in white. Just a basic four door car nothing fancy. The guy i talked too said yes sure I said great we went over colors and I said outline the car in black please. To represent my sons first car he just bought. I go today to pick it up and it's the convertible car from The website I said no that's wrong and repeated the phone call. The girls says I can fix it. Ok great so she does and I get this hideous something that looks kinda like a car but more represents a mirror image of a car being folded in half I was clearly not pleased she tells me it looks like the picture she showed me for reference i said let me see the picture again and point out to her that it DOES NOT look like the picture. She then tells me she can just not charge me for the artwork and I said I guess I have no choice. But I still paid $48!!!! For a f'd up cookie cake that was wrong twice! Def not happy! I attached the picture she asked if it was good (which would of been) and what I got. I said tell the guy if y'all can't do custom orders just say that. I can't imagine a cake shop screwing up someone's birthday cake then saying 'how about I just charge you for the cake not the design' the DESIGN IS THE BASICS OF A CAKE or in this case the COOKIE CAKE

this is still one of my favorite places in Southland Mall(considering there's not much else in there these days),the cookies are still fresh when you purchase them and i still enjoy an occasional cream cheese brownie

Horrible service. Ordered a cake online and when picked it up the name was spelled wrong. CAlled them and they told me I’d get 6 free cookies for a messed up $40 cake that was over baked and nasty. I went to pick up the cookies and asked if I could get a %off a cake and was told they could only give me 10%. We won’t be going back.

I went to Great American Cookies tonight looking for a cookie to cure my sweet tooth. I went up to your employee, Dylan, for help and immediately he helped me in the best and most respectful way. He was very nice and recommended some really DELICIOUS cookies for me and my friends. Even though, it was a few minutes before closing time, he didn’t rush me when deciding. This place is VERY GOOD and Dylan deserves a raise!

garbage service! we arrived at the store about 10 minutes before closing with little kids eager for a cookie! when we walked up, we noticed that they had put them away, but noticed that there were many in the back. we politely asked the girl working there (who, by the way, didn't even look at us) to see if there were any cookies in the back. she said that she would go in the back and ask the "person above her" (these are her exact words). we waited for about two seconds, and then she told us that there were no cookies left. we all knew she was lying, but we left anyway. i felt so bad for my little siblings, they were so upset. i expect better service next time. the store still hadn't closed and she could've served us.
Did an Awesome job on my daughters wedding cake! Delicious as always!

Thank god my cookie was great. I will now be calling from now on to find out if the Dr. Pepper icee machine is working before I waste a trip to the mall considering the light is never on, but the machine is always not working. I had to make sure I wasn't at McDonalds, but I was at the Great American Cookie Company.

Ordered a cake here last week for a birthday party. A friend's husband picked it up because it was a surprise & the birthday girl was with me. The writing & drawing was not up to par at all. I requested for it to look just like the picture minus being a 21. I contacted them via Facebook & they basically said they would "work on it"

I always love the cookies there, I try different kinds of cookies and they also make really good cookie cakes...and every time I stop and get myself a cookie I also get myself a good cup of lemonade to drink with that, the people who work there are also friendly!
