This Ground Pati is not the same as Gretna and Metairie. Between those 2 combined we visit 2-3 times a month. Well this one in Houma doesn't have the same standards. We thought since we got there before 5, we happened to beat the dinner crowd. Later leaving did we realize they don't have a dinner a crowd for a reason. Our host and waitress was great, she did a perfect job. However the faults here are strictly general management. Portions and quality of food were horrible. We ordered nachos like we always do at other locations and this one here was probably half the size and just bland. We had 3 burgers and all the meat was discolored. There's no way that meat was fresh, borderline say it was frozen pre-made patties. They don't know what medium temp is, all were tough and grayish. Along with portions, a kids shrimp plate literally had 4 small shrimp, but ½ pound of fries. These are all management decisions. And the last thing, NO peanuts. Can't call it a Ground Pati without the signature peanuts.

*Food was mediocre at best. Shrimp tasted old and fishy. Fish tasted muddy/oily. The Cajun seasoning that was charged $ to add on to the fries was flavorless. Hamburger patty had absolutely NO seasoning! And the cheese wouldn't even melt.
*Service was the worst. Table of 5: appetizers were cold! 3 meals came out first, 15mins later the other 2 meals came out.
That messed up the idea of going out to eat as a family ?
*Only one waitress in the entire building.
* Best thing was the onion rings.

Came on a Sunday, The service was really slow and our food was cold when we received it. Usually have better service on different days so maybe it's just the Sunday crew that needs improving.

Ate here twice first time I'd give a 5 star but I believe I got lucky I didn't know my friend was working he told me later he cooked mine fresh as the staff prepares food before hand and reheat as ordered I went back after he was no longer employed and I believe he was right because this second time I didn't enjoy my food at all waste of money I can't have leftovers and that's basically what I was served made me sick idk if I will ever be back it's sad because my grandma loves this place
The food was decent. I got the santa fe chicken salad and I mean it was okay, it didnt wow me but it is just a salad lol. The fried veggie basket was kinda small and the fried mozzarella sticks were not worth the price. The waitress was excellent though.

We came as part of a group trip. My burger was really very good, I loved it! The Red velvet cake for dessert is also delicious. Very nice surprise!

Ground Pat'i in Houma has been my go-to burger restaurant for as long as I can remember. There was something special about their burger — flame-grilled with hand-grated thick Cheddar cheese and a pickle spear. The fries were among the best too. Best of all, the food was always consistent. Sadly, that has changed. Last night, I visited Ground Pat'i and was served a cold burger with thin shredded cheese that clearly came from a bag. The fries were different and now have pieces of potato skin attached to them. Even the pickle spear had a stronger "kosher" taste. Simply put, this isn't the same quality Ground Pat'i I have enjoyed for years. It is mind-boggling to me that restaurant managers and owners think they can change the little things about their food in an effort to cut costs without their loyal customers noticing. The little things like hand-grated cheese and quality fries are why we go to Ground Pat'i over Applebee's for a burger. Ground Pat'i is trying to play a magic trick with its food quality and ingredients, but I'm not fooled. I can get what they're serving now from any chain restaurant.

I ordered the fried fish on bun dressed. The fish had a strong fish taste. Not to my liking.

Service was extremely slow, food took way too long to come out. When it did it was not complete and not as ordered.

Really enjoyed time here with my friend. She treated me out as we hadn't seen each other in years! Catching up, as I'm from New Mexico, and she's from here. Was great!Food was good, service a tad slow, but not ridiculous; as I believe they're short staffed. The gal did fine for us.I had a grilled chicken salad with no walnuts. Was delicious! Thanks!

Food is pretty good, Service kinda depends on the waitress. Once I had to wait 45 mins for a order cause the waitress either left or forgot about me.
