Herradura is an authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant in the heart of Houma. 4 stars for being on the pricey side and for the margaritas being from a premix rather than made to order. For a restaurant it is quite bright in there, but we always get exceptional service and the bathroom, although covered in graffiti, is always nice and clean. As far as the food itself, it's always consistent, and always very good. The rice is lacking but they more than make up for it in portion size. There is no closing of the dining room between lunch and dinner which is nice if you stop in for a bite at an odd time of day. Overall one of our favorites. We
