We use to LOVE omg cup cakes. They use to do ALL our cakes for any and all celebrations. However, I find that recently they use way too much icing, and it’s very rich and sweet. I could never finish a piece of cake because it’s simply too sweet. The cakes are always moist and well decorated however.

The place is clean and inviting. Customers have easy visual access too the cupcakes which makes it easy to choose. The place has an interesting selection of cupcakes not available anywhere else that I know of in the city, and they look really great.I feel the bakery fails in a couple areas though. These problems weren't readily apparent, and only presented themselves once we had taken the cupcakes home.First problem was size of the cupcakes. They look pretty normal from the top, and even have that big blob of frosting liberally applied, but the bottom part of the cake that is sitting in the cup is where the issue is. With typical cupcake cups, when you pour the batter in them the batter pushes the cup open some and fills their area of the tin, the result being that once they are baked, you have the standard size cupcake we are all familiar with. At this place however, they use these really stiff metal cups that don't seem to expand out. They stay completely ruffled. On top of that, all of ours seemed to be dented inward a bit. The result was the actual size of cupcakes being roughly just over half of what a normal cupcake is. It's tiny. Once the icing is off, it's one bite.Second problem is only a problem because the cupcakes are expensive. The taste. I've been baking for 25 years, and these don't have the type of vibrant flavor I associate with carefully prepared homemade baked goods. I won't go so far as to say they taste like mass-produced supermarket cupcakes, but they fall somewhere between the two. One of the area's this was most apparent was when I tasted the cream cheese frosting.For the above two reasons, I feel although they are pretty good cupcakes, they are not in line with the price being charged. I don't see myself going here very often, but for most people, if you want readily-available cupcakes that are of better quality than the supermarket bakery, these will do. Just be aware that they are obscenely expensive for what you're actually getting.Overall, it's a pretty okay place.

Nastiest cupcakes ever!! Don't go here unless you want dry, no flavor, days old cupcakes. I bought different "flavors" but no flavor only picture worthy cupcakes. Wish I can get my money back

What an adorable little cupcake place! There were so many cupcakes to choose from. Traditional flavors along with some unique ones - I've tried the Samoa and blackberry cobbler so far and they were so good! The cake and frosting were delicious and a perfect balance between the two. Plus, they had good pricing for such extravagant cupcakes.

I was going every 2-3 weeks to pick up a four of my mom’s favorite cupcakes, Wedding Cake. Every time I went, I was waited on by the owner who was very rude, impatient and acted like I was wasting her time when asking questions about the cupcake flavors.As expensive as these cupcakes are, I expect the owner to at least provide good customer service!Being willing to give her another chance, I again returned in June 2019 to purchase more cupcakes & inquire about ordering a birthday cake for my son’s late July birthday. The owner completely blew me off-didn’t even bother to ask what size, type, etc cake I wanted, just took my payment for the cupcakes & said, “my cakes start at $50” and went back behind the curtain to the back. Ugh!!!HOW RUDE! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO OMG CUPCAKES AGAIN!
