Red Seal Pizzeria & Bar

My wife and I decided to try Red Seal despite the 3.6 rating. We both agreed it was one of the better restaurants we have gone to.

The atmosphere: It was very comfortable. We didn't feel rushed or out of place even though it was our first time. The background music wasn't overpowering and relaxing over our light conversation.

The service: We walked in and the server immediately headed our direction to greet us and show us to our table. She was very friendly and courteous at all times. She was also very attentive for drink refills and answered questions we had about menu items.

The food: While they have plenty of menu items, we each ordered Calzones. The crust was very soft, unlike other pizzerias we have gone to. They were delicious. We were served about 20 minutes from from when we ordered, right after we finished our house salads.

*I admit this was our first visit, but everything was above expectations and we do plan to order and try some other dishes on their menu.

Overall, definitely earns the stars for service, atmosphere, cleanliness of the restaurant, and the food and pricing. Being located at the Mall, I expected much higher pricing, but is comparing to places like Applebees, Chili's, and The Ground Pati.

This is now combined with what used to be Athenos Greek & Lebanese restaurant...quite an interesting combo. Tried the pesto pizza and it had one of the worst crusts I have ever come across at a pizza place. Completely under cooked, basically pizza toppings on pita dough. Service and atmosphere were fine.

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! We gave this place 3 chances and all 3 times they blew it. The wait staff is great, the music is great but the food is less than desirable. The music is what kept us trying it.

All 3 times my order was wrong. The last 2 times my BF ordered Lasagne. The 1st time they told him that they were sold out after our order was put in. Then last night my food was brought out and Was told my BF’s food would be out shortly. About 15-20 minutes LATER we are told that there is no lasagna. At that time, my food was cold, my BF didn’t have a meal…so we were a bit upset to say the least. 3 strikes they are out!!

We love red seal pizza! The bar-b-q chicken pizza is our favorite though we haven't had one we didn't like. We've always had great service!

The service and attention to your order is totally forgotten about. Been there three times only because we went to see Tet Dur. 1st and 3rd visit were a nightmare. 2nd visit was a breeze ONLY BECAUSE I ORDERED MY FOOD FOR PICK UP BEFORE I LEFT HOME. This place need organization and a management that knows what they are doing. Worse service I’ve ever witnessed in a restaurant setting.

You go for the atmosphere. Great live music and wholesome bayou feels. The pizza, well, the first slice was fine but after a while it starts to feel like you paid for Totino's pizza from the freezer section. All pizzas come with a basic salad which is a nice gesture. Service was great.

The service is very weird! The place is described as a pizzeria /bar, but when I questioned my waitress about the bar menu she looked confused. I asked were there any IPA beers and she could answer. I then went up to the bar to ask about the IPa’s and the bartender pulled out bottles of beer and asked me if they were ipa’s. None of them were but that was ok. I then asked for aMargarita and it tasted like a bottled of premixed margarita, and my waitress confirmed it was! I was confused because they have a full bar! Why would they serve premixed margaritas out of a bottle ? Overall the service was bad, but I don’t think it’s the wait staffs fault, because they just seemed untrained. The waitress was very nice and seems to be doing her best.The pizza was mediocre. I think that it could be a great place, because they have live music 3 nights a week but the management is lacking overall.

We were first attracted to the restaurant because we heard about the chicken wings! They are so tasty and crunchy. We also got the spinach dip, a chicken wrap and a cheese pizza. The spinach dip had slices of artichoke which are my favorite. The chicken wrap was prepared with Mediterranean spices was very refreshing. The red sauce is sort of sweet and i thought it was a new, good spin on pizza. Everything was good and service was amazing. Google said they were closed but we called anyway and they were open.

The service was absolutely horrible we waited 30 minutes for 2 of our drinks from the bar and we were the only table and the third drink after 45 minutes we canceled it because they said she was looking up how to make it but never once did anyone come and ask if we wanted a different drink while we waited or told us it would be a while because the bartender did not know how to make a old fashioned which is on the menu not a special order then the bartender gave us a major attitude when I told her we didn’t want the drink after all so we decided to leave and that’s when they finally decided to ask us if we needed anything or if they could change our minds

We ordered take out & it took over 40min longer than what the pick up time was. I have been a vegetarian for over 8 years & the veggie wings was definitely some sort of off brand frozen chicken drowned in bbq sauce. I called to ask them & the girl assured me it was cauliflower, it definitely was not. It's hard to get good vegetarian options in Houma so this was very disappointing. The pizza was extremely chewy & greasy & not even the right toppings. The salad dressing was literally a bottle of spices with olive oil. And why put tomato sauce & bell peppers on a kids burger. Needless to say our dinner was ruined & my mood. I will never eat here again nor recommend this place to anyone.

The Hot Spicy Honey Stromboli was amazing. The chicken wings are super delicious and Spicey! Great drink deals. Good
