About Rabideaux Sausage Kitchen

Rabideaux Sausage Kitchen in Louisiana is known for its delicious food and friendly staff. The restaurant offers a variety of meat choices with excellent seasoning, especially recognized for its sausages. It is a country story with a kitchen, a local place that takes pride in its food and has a warm, family-like atmosphere with no frills country charm and Cajun flare. The menu includes standout dishes such as catfish, fried okra, and onion rings, along with boudin, cracklin, fried fish or chicken, and sausage kabob. The catfish was fried to perfection, very light, with no fishy taste. The pistolette was simply amazing, and the cracklins were tasty. The cashiers were super nice and helpful, and they had a full stock of all their sausages. The kids had cheeseburger and chicken tenders and they loved them. The crawfish potato was large and loaded with crispy Lil mudbugs. The sausage hoagie and a boudain link were rich and smokey with a great snap, and the boudain was soft and delicious with great spice and was huge. The plate lunch line was a cool feature. The place is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for families and all visitors. Its convenient location provides ample parking, making it an ideal stop for travelers seeking good food in a friendly environment.

I bought baked potatoes. The grilled chicken potato was very good. The grilled steak was somewhat tough for the second time. I seriously doubt I will try the steak potato again. I enjoy all the other foods. The plate lunches are good as well. The prices are reasonable. I've been going there for over 25 yrs. I guess that should say something about the food and the service.
Really delicious hot food and frozen prepared food to take home and cook..
The servers could be a little more friendly but the food is worth the trip.. excellent boudin. You can dine in and eat your meal hot or take it to go. They also have frozen meals and meat to purchase.
