New update: October 29, 2024--- My child wanted to eat beer favorite burger for her birthday, which is from Roy's. We got to Roy's around 6:15 pm. We were greeted promptly and we ordered, a grilled cheese, a double meat cheeseburger with fried egg and bacon, a cheeseburger, and the Roy's special poboy. Everything was wonderful except, the mustard isn't like regular mustard. My husband doesn't like different mustards except yellow, there is some sort of different mustard that they used. My poboy was amazing expecially with the jalapeno mayo, the only thing that could have made it better would have been a gravy/au jus similar to another restaurant. The bread was perfect. 10/10 for me and my kids. But a 8/10 about the mustard for my husband's burger.
I won 6 boiled crabs from a contest on Facebook. I attempted on go on a Saturday evening, but they close early on Saturdays. We went this past Friday. I ordered my 6 free boiled crabs, half pound of boiled shrimp, my husband ordered a boiled shrimp dinner, my mom ordered 6 boiled crabs, my oldest daughter ordered a burger, and my youngest child ordered a grilled cheese. You can buy 20 oz drinks and chips to go with the burgers. We found a place to sit and the crabs came out so quickly. They were FANTASTIC. Seasoned perfectly. The burgers were so juicy. The grilled cheese got eaten so quickly by my four year old. The boiled shrimp were different. They had a sauce on them. They were good but not like we were expecting. The service and food was amazing. * I'm not making this post because I won crabs, I'm making this post because everything was PHENOMENAL.

We travel from Houston to Louisiana several times a month. We’re also huge foodies. This place is DELICIOUS! We had the boudin and the burgers. It’s a true meat market not a restaurant but there’s a little area to eat. We bought more boudin, some ice and cooler to take some home to our kids. Great little place!

I'm giving them 5 stars for simply being one of the only places in the Lake Area that will take quartered deer for processing! Fast and friendly service!
