This place came highly recommended by a friend, Joey Blanchard. It’s a quaint family owned and operated restaurant that serves local comfort food quickly and with friendly and attentive service! There were so many food options available and the lunchtime clientele was comprised of local residents. Everyone knew everyone else there and it was packed! The food was fantastic, served quickly, unpretentious, and made with love! Everything we ordered was amazing! I ordered the lunch special of a 1/2 shrimp po’boy sandwich and the chicken and sausage gumbo. We also I had the gator bite appetizer, which was incredible! This little gem is one of the many best kept local secrets in the area! You just have to visit here! You won’t be disappointed!
Amazing food. Really homie. I try not to give out 5 stars unless it's the best I've ever had. So this four stars is like an A or 95%. Well worth the stop!!!

This was my third time coming and as usual food and service was awesome! Had the hamburger steak and it was really good ... also got bread pudding to go and yum! Definitely will be back again!

I was here about a year and a half ago, But I did not eat there until three weeks ago and the food blew me away and out of this world. Fresh for sure and fast like almost lighting fast but for sure fresh. NOT MICROWAVED PERIOD. There facility is clean inside and out even there dumpsters area super clean AND NO SMELLS before going inside. a little dark inside but not bad but could use a little brighter lighting to show off the very nice interior. There service is excellent 10 stars PERIOD IF NOT A 20! If those who are like me with good friends trying to find a place and go to a place with serious good tasting food and a small or big road trip this is the place to go. Every time I have recommended this is a palace of pure goodness. If you are not eating here then you are missing out on a adventure of lip tingling and full tummy of richness. My friends and I came back to our hotels rooms after eating at this most prostege and what we feel is perfect food of happieness and thought those like us looking for good food willing to travel this is the place! We are heading back to Oregon Knowing the next trip into Louisiana we will be finding a hotel to stay at and travel to our meeting places but close by to be close to such very good food and fun.

Would've been 5 ☆s but we called before we left the house & asked if they had the seafood buffet tonight & asked what time they closed. Got there in 20 minutes & was told it was too late for the buffet. That was the whole reason for us going there. I ended up getting the boiled crabs & they were delicious. My wife got the seafood platter & everything was fresh & delicious.
