We just left this place. Service was just OK. Food was less than ok. The gumbo didn’t taste like gumbo. My grilled plate of fish and shrimp was so salty I could only eat one shrimp and a couple bites of the fish. The shrimp cocktail consisted of six shrimp the size of dimes. When we quietly let the server know about the salty dish she left with it before we could explain the rest. They gave us half off my dish so we still came out with a $66 bill. Never again.

This was my first time eating here since the new ownership. I got the half fried crawfish and and half crawfish etoufee plate. It was very good and our server was really nice and friendly. It's definitely worth going again.

My wife and I decided to have lunch at this iconic restaurant yesterday. We walked in and there were 3 employees standing at the front door. A young blonde female said she would be right with us. She then escorted us to our table and took our drink orders. We sat down at 12:30 pm, and at 1:00 pm we still did not have our drinks (water). The restaurant only had patrons at 5 tables, and it appeared that most of them were either eating or finishing up their meal. I fully get the employee shortage across the entire country but when I see multiple staff sitting on their thumbs I will leave. Not sure if this restaurant will make it with this level of service. As we were exiting the restaurant we observed the blonde female sitting down playing on her phone.

If you are a local restaurant eater the yellow Bowl now has Fine Dining it's a very good place to sit down and eat with your family and they have before time I don't beverage for adults.

I have been to the yellow bowl many times. Food is usually great. Sunday was a different story. No ketchup. I ordered crayfish bisque, no stuffed heads in the bisque. Appetizer came out last . A little disappointed.

We sat at our table for an hour. The waitress forgot my salad then I had to ask for it then never brought our meal. Other tables came in way after us got their food ate and left. Still nothing when I asked the waitress how much longer she lied and said the fry cook just arrived and our order should not be much longer. They served the other tables fried food the whole time we waited. Then the waitress came back and said oh she forgot to put our order in. Wasted time. Never again we will go to The Yellow Bowl Restaurant.
The food is very good but their a/c wasn't working properly so it was a little hard to relax. But we'll worth the trip for the food. The seafood was fresh and cooked excellent. The last star not earned is from the heat in the place but worth going again.

Great service! Great food. Popped in here for a late lunch with family who was in from out of state. We had a large party of 12 people (adults & kids) and the staff was very wonderful at accommodating our large group. Food was delicious! I ordered the crab cakes and cup of seafood gumbo. The gumbo was spectacular!!

I detoured off the interstate to eat at the Yellow Bowl. I had heard the food was wonderful. They did not disappoint! The service was excellent. The atmosphere was charming, clean and comfortable. Our children caused a ruckus but the staff were incredibly patient and helpful with them. We ate the lunch buffet and everyone loved it. We also tried the crawfish etouffee, which was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Sorry to sound mean, but for the high prices we paid tonight for 3 people to eat, the ribeye was mediocre, lettuce of salad was brown and wilted, hamburger steak dry with no gravy and onions should have been caramelized-they were barely cooked, bread was sliced soggy toast under the food and omg omg omg the flies, the flies. I had to fight the flies off my food THE WHOLE MEAL which ruined my dinner. I have eaten at restaurants all over the world, so I have something to compare your restaurant to and it’s suffice to say I was not a happy camper
