Great atmosphere and friendly service. We had a sample of the three king cakes she had to offer that day. Absolutely delicious!

They have a limited menu until Mardi Gras because they are baking King Cakes. I had the praline King Cake and it was yummy!

The best food I've ever had at a coffee shop. Everything we've tried has been amazing. The lox toast is our favorite.

Great sunny atmosphere, friendly staff. Wonderful artwork. Crazy high prices. Literally the worst coffee I've ever had. Undrinkable. Place is always empty. We wonder if it's a money laundering operation. Iced tea, small tea, very good chocolate chip cookie, $17 with tip.

Lovely place when it is open, but it hardly seems to be open anymore. And, there's no consistency about the hours. I do hope they are okay. When it is open, the coffee, food, all are great!

Unreliable! This is the 4th time, in the past year, I've shown up during business hours only to find the doors locked and lights off. I have a limited amount of time for my lunch break and showing up to a closed lunch spot that is randomly closed is extremely inconvenient and a bit rude. I've even checked their website and Facebook pages and there have been no announcements for these unexpected closures, also no signs or notes on the doors. The food is good and the staff is friendly (when they show up) and I want to like this place, but this is the 4th strike. There are more reliable places that are just as good or better a few minutes down Jefferson Hwy in both directions.

Best king cake I've had this season.

I stopped by for an afternoon coffee, hoping for something other than a PJs coffee, and it was delicious. I got the specialty Iced King Cake Latte and it was everything I needed. Perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. It is fairly close to the hospital, right off of the causeway. I will definitely be going back.

High prices! My biggest beef is that I was charged $1 more for my lox and toast than the menu price. I had to ask for my receipt since I was curious how $13.95 turned into $16.30 with tax when that is all I ordered. Now I know why he avoided giving it to me. My receipt showed I was charged $14.95. When I questioned it, the man waiting on me (previously identified himself as the owner) said "oh you can't go by that. Prices change every week." I was stunned, somehow lost for words. Isn't this illegal? Unethical for sure! I was then disgusted when I finally received my rock-hard toast and lox. Salmon seemed fresh, but the toast was a 3mm slice of something that was too hard to cut with a knife (I tried!) and too hard to take a bite of. I ate the fish and greens, which were nice, fortunately. I came here in August with a friend and reviewed it was good but expensive. I had no plans of returning, but another friend said she really wanted to try the place. I tried to tell her about my previous $5 ice tea and $14 cuban, but she said let's go, so I relented. However after she paid $3.50 for a can of diet coke I think she felt the same.  After this visit, I can honestly say I will NEVER return. The food isn't that great, and I refuse to contribute to unethical businesses.

The place has so much potential I do love the espresso beans they use. It can also go for some cleaning the bathroom is never freshened up and now the cake case is used for a second refrigerator. There was tomatoes, and Diet Coke thrown in, and just not very clean in there. So I wasn’t really feeling up to eating the food. All that Being said it can be a really cute place and the coffee is really good.
