Jaeger's Seafood and Oyster House

Atmosphere was very warm and friendly. We was seated immediately. Our server Dillon was very friendly and offered great service. My husband had fried çatfish that was delicious. I had boiled crawfish with sausage very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Food is always good and hot when set on your table. The drinks are well-poured, so be sure to show your appreciation to the bartenders and waitresses. The atmosphere is lively, especially on Sunday evenings when the crowd is filled with baby boomers enjoying the great music. It's a very relaxed and fun environment for adults. And don't forget to meet Mike! Good vibes!

Everything was on point especially the raw oysters. The cat fish was so,so I'm not a big fan of it. Other than that it was great 😃😃😃

Food was over cooked and tasted like dirty water.. the shrimp has a odd taste.. the lobster was way over cooked..

Wow......how far this place has fallen. Took some coworkers there and told them about how great it was. I've been here basically every time I come to Nola. We were there for almost 2 hours. In that time the only food we ended up getting was the half dozen of chargrilled oysters and some of us got our dinner salads. The salads were basically a plate with some lettuce and onion. I confronted the manager because our waiter just kept giving excuses and he couldn't give any explanation of why we never recieved our food. Other tables around us got thier food. Absolutely terrible service!!! No accountability by management!! I used to rave about this place but not any more. Its sad to see a good place go to crap.

The Cindy fries were pretty good but the shrimp pasta was way too much sauce. Service was good. The live music was really loud and didn't sound very good. Normally I like live music but that was hard to listen too.

Not sure if the other reviews are real or we just went at a bad time, but at noon, lunch on a Sunday? We figured it would be somewhat decent. Our server was very sweet. They opened at 11, and didn't have what I would consider simple things. For example, ranch dressing for a salad, nor the red beans and rice my Fiancé ordered, or a roast beef poboy her friend ordered. It would've been better to ask what they DID have. As far as price goes, it's extremely expensive for lunch, a catfish plate with 1 piece of catfish and fries cost 21.99? I looked for edible gold in the catfish to justify the price. Overall extremely disappointed.

The food here is pretty good in general, but we especially love to come here during crawfish season. I believe it’s a family owned restaurant, and the staff is pretty great. We always have really good service. At times they have live music, which is great, but if you want something quieter, you can sit in the back of the restaurant, even with the live entertainment and still easily have a quiet conversation. During crawfish season, this is a must.

TERRIBLE SERVICE !
I didn't eat all day, we went hungry. Two couple party.
We ordered, everyone got their meals but me !! No one came around to check on us. My friends were offering me some of their food knowing that I had not eaten. I was NOT going to impose on my friends meals !!!
We had to clear our own table of the Oyster Trays Plates etc.
Still I didn't get my meal, no one to flag down and when I did call out to our Server she didn't hear or ignored me.
Finally later she came to our table and said, Oh you didn't get your meal and said she would check on it I told her we don't have time its TOO LATE now all my friends and Wife were finished eating !! We had been there a little over 2hrs !! They were NOT Busy and very sparsely seated. The Manager came by apologized and said he didn't know what to do and what we wanted him to do !! The Manager satisfied everyone but ME !! I left HUNGRY. 2.5 hours WASTED !!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! 😞 😔
