Jaeger's Seafood and Oyster House

What happened ? We used to frequent the other location for years. This was my 3rd time to the existing locale. I tried but it's bad and cheap shortcuts. The 2 crawfish egg rolls for 10.00 are just the leftover boil stuff stuffed in a wrapper. 5.00 a piece! The dipping sauces aren't even filled. 3rd time the fries were soggy and undercooked. How ? 2nd time I tried shrimp poboy for 16.99. exactly 12 shrimp. Add on .95 for lettuce and a slimy tomato. .95 for the crappy fries.
Beer was cold tho. I had 2 drafts.
Each time the place had maybe 4 other tables total. I tried to excuse it but... that meal was 48.00 for 1 person before tip. What a shame. Do no bother. One of the worst nosedives in years.

The people are very friendly that worked there, and the atmosphere is awesome, especially on Sundays, when they have live bands. The food though is not that great for the price that they charge. They are expensive.

Came here for dinner with my mom and dad. Customer service was great! Harry was kind and attentive. He listened and made sure everything was what we asked. Food was hot, fresh, and delicious! Oysters were so goodddddd, lol I was literally licking the fork! They were served still sizzling! Thank you Jaegers for such a memorable experience :)

It was lobster nite but they ran out or didn't have any lobster to begin with but for me that is what I came for and I've been waiting for a lobster dinner from there..so very disappointed

An overall tasty meal with good friends. The waitress was very nice but the food came out very slow. In regard to value, pricing is on the high side($23.99 for a catfish platter), but the portions are larger than usual (three large pieces of fish, fries, and a small scoop of jambalaya).

I ordered catfish and I was served a different kind of fish. The batter was not good. They can’t prepare good catfish. I have decided to stop eating out.

I was looking for some great creole food and from reading the reviews I thought this local place would be it, but it fell way short. Should have known from the place being empty. Stuffed mushrooms were all bread and the crawfish eggrolls were basically corn wraps. After trying those 2 dishes we went elsewhere. Didn’t seem like it was going to get any better.

For what you pay in this place they should at least serve real butter not some plastic tasting whipped spread. Food is decent, service mediocre, but i will not be returning. Too many other places around.

Parking: Accessible and comfy standard parking was abundantly available.

Kid-friendliness: Multiple appeasing items for the little ones to choose from coupled with live entertainment.

We, as usual, sat at the bar. Thr bar tender, though overwhelmed by too many tables and not enough help, was very good. She stayed on tip of what we needed and was courteous and fast
