I had 2 hours for lunch the other day, and headed there after court. The buffet ($12 I think) is completely, and totally worth it. Good ole Southern food with fried chicken, fried catfish, cornbread, huge wedges, peach cobbler, banana pudding, okra, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, rice, a huge salad section, etc. I had 2 full plates of mostly catfish, and other stuff. Next time I'll have the chicken. 100% recommended if in the area.
Not sure how this place was going to be when we pulled up. Was pleasantly surprised. We came on a Sunday during lunch and a buffet was being served. Hands down one of the best buffet style lunches I have ever eaten in my life. I had some of most everything and it was all amazing. The brisket was surprisingly soft and tender. There was lots of food between the buffet and the salad bar. It was enjoyable to eat there - very rustic but comfortable. Like most buffets the food is fine, not great. But a few items on the bar were extra good. Nice people working there, which made it pleasant. Popular place.
