The communication with the waitress was very difficult. The food was ok but I've had better. Personally I'd drive the extra miles to Jonesville to eat at Los Cabos. The food is much better especially for the price you pay here at La Cabana. Three adults ate and it was $75 & we did not get queso or anything extra. 2 happy plates and a chicken fajita nacho with drinks.
This little gem located in Jena, LA, has excellent Mexican food. I ordered the Nachos La Cabana, and some won't believe this, but these Nachos were some of the very best I have ever had.And I lived in Houston for 30 years, so I've had some of the best.These are right at the top.Everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing.If you are ever in Jena, LA, make La Cabana a must stop.

My sister and I went MAINLY to listen to Derrick McLendon sing and tell his wonderful stories. And we were not disappointed as he put on a great show. Thanks, Derrick, and know that you have fans here in Jena. I wish that you would come to Jena more often and entertain us.
