Boudin King used to trade so much better and for some reason they lost that touch. Not sure what changed but they don't season food the way they once did.

I go there for lunch every day while I'm at work on my work week and I get the gumbo every time but they do sell other items on the menu such as fried Chicken boudin of course and numerous other things but the gumbo is just my favorite you can either get shrimp call chicken and sausage.!!! Highly recommend

The food was horrible. No seasoning. I ordered chicken. It was horrible. Boudin rice was mushy. Gumbo had no taste. The service was okay. There was a frog in the toilet. This use to be a popular place to go to when traveling. I don’t know what happened.

Stopped here for lunch, we ordered the chicken gumbo and the boudin.
The gumbo was probably the best I've ever had. It wasn't to spicy and the sausage in it was delicious. The boudin was really tasty and the rice was not mushy like it is at most places. The servers were all so sweet and accommodating to all the questions I had.
I have been wanting to come back here for years now. This place did not disappoint! The boudin was delicious and the shrimp po boy! I will market this my getaway weekend spot again real soon!

I don’t live in Jennings anymore and haven’t been to boudin king in over 15 years . This used to be the best boudin ! I went there this past wk and brought my mother who was so excited to go and my sister . The boudin was awful, no taste and so full of rice that nobody ate it . Service was awful and environment was hot and filthy . Bathroom had no A/C and had fan blowing hot air . It appeared to have young people running it and I know that the late Ellis Cormier would not approve of the food quality being served . I will never go back to Jennings boudin king . Food was so bad that if I could give no stars I would .
