I got the boom boom shrimp salad. There were a lot of shrimp, but they were lukewarm and my salad didn’t taste fresh. They gave me a large container of boom boom sauce which is a mayo mixture. It was okay, but not worth $20.
Food wasn’t the best, but not bad either. Services was good and the atmosphere was pretty open diner vibe, the security at the store attached kept staring at our group and I didn’t like that.
It's not a bad spot at all. Food was good only because I always expect better, but I had the crab cake Benedict. It was good but not great, like I expected. Feel like it was store bought frozen crab cakes & the cook forgot the poached egg ?. The shrimp and grits were really good ? I feel like for the price I should've been blown away but it's not a bad quick stop(not that quick) for a road trip.
