workers are rude & miserable looking EVERY time I come in this place. no one likes working, but it’s called having good customer service regardless. wish they had another one in the area so I could avoid this place.

Ordered banana split: ice cream’s strawberry, chocolate, vanilla. Toppings strawberries, chocolate syrup, pineapple. Received strawberry, strawberry, vanilla with pineapple,pineapple, tiny bit of chocolate Apparently thrown together with whatever scoops were handy.

My first 3-scooper?EVER in my entire life! ? S’mores, Cookie dough, and Strawberry …Basking Robins could’ve kept the s’mores scoop, tho. ??
And I even sampled the flavor before welcoming it to the clan, so it’s not like I made an uninformed decision. I guess that particular flavor is better in small portions. ??♀️
The staff was courteous and patient at us sampling their entire inventory. The atmosphere was decent, but it could use some additional (indoors or outdoors) seating for how busy it tend to gets. We had to stand outside because of the size of our party, but would’ve preferred to sit indoors to have dessert- specially since it was hot outside and it was nighttime.
Back to my ice cream: Luckily, I strategically added the s’mores scoop to the top of my ice cream tower, so after a few licks, it got the boot! ? I’ll stick to real S’mores dessert from now on. ???
Parking: The location is part of a strip mall. It has a large shared parking lot. The parking lot compensates for the lack of seating.
There is plenty of room in the parking lot to stand while eating your ice cream, if seating isn’t available. Or, you can always just park and eat in your car if you like sticky messes. Or, drive to a nearby open well-lit park? Just some suggestions…?
Kid-friendliness: If by kid friendly you mean they have kids working there, yes.
Lacks seating for parties bigger than 4, so not family friendly, which in terms is equal to kid-friendly. In total, the entire shop seats 6 people max, unless we start stacking laps or the floor.
I was hesitant about what ice cream flavor I want. Because I never been to a basket robins before. The employee was kind and asked if I wanted to sample. I was so excited, their cotton candy ice cream is the best.

The ice cream at this store is better than the one on Veterans and Houma, which always has ice crystals in it. This one is rich and creamy. The staff were friendly and courteous.

The owner and his employees were incredibly helpful when I ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday. Alyssa and Chris were pretty amazing when I picked it up. Needless to say, the birthday boy loved the cake! Thank you to all of the employees at the Kenner location!!

AND DIDNT ASK FOR toppings. Which they usually do when I go here. Then said sorry in a sassy way. Besides her. The other workers seemed pleasant and friendly!

They did an amazing job on the cake for my sister's gender reveal! The parents-to-be were happy with how it turned out and a full sheet cake was more than enough to feed the about 25 guests at the party. The customer service at pick up and over the phone was great as well ? (The melting in the pics was due to the 91 degree day.)
