Found this place by accident while driving down Williams. It was 12 noon on a Saturday but the place was empty, so we were kind of hesitant to go.. We are so glad we went! I ordered the combo oyster poboy and Gumbo, which were excellent. My wife ordered the Shrimp poboy and fries combo, which was also outstanding. The prices were reasonable, the amount of food you received was abundant, the inside dining areas are unique, with different "Louisiana" rooms you can sit in, and the service was outstanding.. Can't ask for anything else when you dine out.

I ordered a bowl of traditional gumbo with grilled cheeze and shrimp fireballs on the side. The gumbo was very tasty with plenty of shrimp, sausage, and chicken, and it went well with the cheese toast that came with it. Shrimp fireball is fried shrimp with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce, and it was very delicious.

I came to this establishment with my family Friday night. Of course we knew there was possibly going to be a wait time due to lent season. As a party of 3 we waited for 30 minutes before our table was ready. Which isn’t a problem. However a party of 6 walked into the establishment and was immediately seated. Which doesn’t make sense & seems unfair. Once I received the text message that our table was ready we proceeded to the host stand. The host then told us to wait a moment while she looked around the restaurant to see where to seat us at. So it’s as if our table was not even ready even though we received a text message saying our table was ready. Once we were seated, we observed 3 different serves that walked into the section where our table was located. Those servers checked on the 2 other tables in that section with us and did not bother to acknowledge or make eye contact with my table. Mind you, there were only THREE tables in that section. My table being the third. We were ignored. Not one server bothered to even ask if someone had greeted our table yet or even got our drink orders at least. We waited 20 minutes before walking out because we were never greeted or acknowledged. Horrible first experience.

Few things before I leave a review.

Our waiter was wonderful!! Very professional, polite and attentive.

He knew food was coming out slow so kept us content during the meal.

We ordered wings for an appetizer and they were good, nothing special, but they sprinkled sugar on them. They came out promptly.

For our main course, we ordered the 3# bag of boiled crawfish.
We picked out the garlic and butter flavor .
Very interesting flavor. Too sweet, the butter flavor was different almost like fake butter or enhanced margarine. It’s hard to tell.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, politeness of the waiter. Maybe next time we’ll try something else.

Prices are reasonable and staff overall very friendly.

The po boys and etuffe were good.
We ordered crawfish and had to wait over an hour only to be told they were backed up and that it would take a while to get our food. Would have been great to hear this when we ordered NOT an hour in to our dining experience. Would not recommend.
Clearly understaffed

Good BUT...don't get it to-go
The flavor of the crawfish viet-cajun was amazing and spicy. The regular boiled crawfish was a little sweet. The char broiled oysters were buttery and tasty BUT it only came with 3 pieces of bread for a dozen oysters. When we asked for more bread, the waitress advised she would have to put in another order which reflected on our bill to be $6! For 3 pieces of additional bread.....3 pieces for a DOZEN oysters!?
The viet-cajun crawfish were so good that I ordered 3 lbs to go, with the sides, for $28. Brought it home to find half the crawfish were dirty. It was so disappointing to drive an hour away and find half your meal is dirty. I called the restaurant and received no answer.
NOW here's the but, it's Mardi Gras day and it's busy, I understand they're churning it out, but who wants to eat dirty crawfish?

The food was ok but the tea was the weakest I’ve ever had. It was water with a hint of tea flavor. It was so weak it looked like water with a hint of brown. Also I’m assuming they don’t have plates. They brought out bowls for my sandwich which was weird. I order fries with my poboy and they brought them out with the appetizer so they were cold by time my food got there.

Had the worst experience yesterday with one of the owners, will not be returning. Charbroiled oysters were over cooked, had baby shrimp and tried to blame it on them being fresh, as if they didn't hand pick the shrimp to drop in the boil. No consistency with this place, one time it can be great and the next a total disaster.
