I got the pupusas, fried plaintains, and tamarindo juice. The pupusas were amazing and a generous size. The plaintains are delicious, and this is the only tamarindo I’ve had outside of jarritos, and I think I’ll just stick to tamarind candy from now on. (I already ate some of what’s in the picture.)
We just flew into NewOrleans from Myrtle Beach SC. Stopped in for something to eat and so glad we did. Food was great and the two sisters (owners) were very friendly. Would go again 100%
Spent my birthday at Blue Bird in Kenner and had such a fun, memorable time! The pupusas and the pollo con tajadas are absolutely the best—so flavorful and perfectly cooked. My daughter couldn’t get enough of the carne, and everything tasted like it was made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. A true gem in Kenner
