Worst begniets ever. Super Dense and flavorless and undercooked. Super rude manager. Avoid this location. They supremely suck

This place is a great alternative to not having to go to the original one downtown. The staff was friendly and had people who worked there who live close to it. So the locals all know who they are. It's not the cleanest restaurant in the world, but much cleaner than the one downtown that's overrun by tourists.. if you're on this side of town in New Orleans, give this place a try. It'll be worth your time. The beignet was fresh and plump, and the coffee is authentic Cafe Du Monde as it should.

I haven't been here and I never would go there. I don't care to sit at a table with other people. There's no sitting there. It's an open cafeteria with tables stuck right beside each other. So if you like eating with strangers this would be a great place to go

I've never had more fresh beignets in my life (and I've had lots)! I went through the drive-thru on an early Friday evening and was served in less than five minutes. Service was quick and friendly. And the beignets were HOT and coated in sugar. Got stuck in traffic, so it was the perfect excuse to taste them fresh. Will be going here from now on!

Don't underestimate the size of the donuts. We ended up getting too many - one order per person is probably too much. The cafe du lait ... Really wasn't that special.

Tons of seating inside surprised me

Beignets were decent but the drinks were dilute and weak.

We visited Café du Monde in New Orleans, but not the original location, and it was a wonderful experience. The beignets were fresh, warm, and exactly what you hope for when you come here. What really made the visit special was the service. The team was kind, welcoming, and very attentive. We ended up having a really nice conversation with some of the staff, and it felt genuine and friendly, not rushed at all.

It is one of those places where you feel happy to sit, enjoy good company, and just take in the moment. A great stop, and a memory we will keep with a smile.

Waited 20 minutes for the Worst beignets I have ever had. Felt like a brick. Tasted like a hard, chewy loaf of bread. They went in the garbage. Couldn’t even chew them down.

Stopped in at this location because we were on our way out of NOLA. Cafe Du Monde always has great coffee and beignets. Most of the people are friendly, and the only issue I had was with one worker who was at the counter. My wife went to ask for a to go bag to put our leftovers in. The young lady at the counter was on her phone and acted bothered by my wife asking for something. I obviously am not going to know the rating due to her because everyone else there is friendly.
