If you are coming to New Orleans you should definitely try the cafe du Monde coffee and beingets. The are warm sweet and messy all the things you want on vacation. The coffee is great too.
We wanted to try Beignets while in New Orleans but didn't want to wait for a long time so we came to this Cafe Du Monde location. It's located inside Esplanade Mall so there is ample free parking outside. We came in around 11:30 on a Sunday and found the place near empty. There were maybe 2 or 3 other customers already seated. The service was very fast and the employees were very kind. The beignets and coffee came out within 5 minutes of placing our order and were warm...
While in New Orleans I had to have Beignets. Kenner location rude staff cafe dirty staff talking and laughing. Beignets were good but could not enjoy it because of dirty windows floor and tables, on top of no smiles.
