Did I write a review of Chilango?!! Well guess what, I'm back like you'll be back to this Mexican Joint in Kenner off Williams (Pontratrain side)!

They have done well! Numerous repeat customers, $1.50 tacos and more, authentic atmosphere with a DJ featured in the later hours. You can eat drink and laugh all day!

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING YOU HAVENT TRIED CAUSE IF YOU DONT LIKE IT THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU!!!!
I came here with my girlfriend today because this used to be her favorite spot and I wanted to finally try it. When we walked in and sat at our table, our server greeted us and we put in our food. The food was phenomenal and we enjoyed every last bite; however, we were unsatisfied with the tortilla soup. When we tried to send it back and get it taken off the bill the waitress refused and said we were unable to do that. After waiting ten long minutes for her to return, my girlfriend decided to get her attention and ask for a Togo box for our tacos. The waitress brings the check with her and I instantly see the tortilla soup is the first thing on the ticket. I ask her again to remove it because we did not like it and we only took one bite from it. She walked away to talk to the manager and came back and said “sorry we can’t it’s not my rules” and I am appalled to say the least. I work in the service industry and I would never think to do such a thing. Making guests pay for food they are unsatisfied with is insane and morally wrong!

The food was good, except that we ordered a meal without adding anything and they brought it with that added thing that we didn't want, we asked for the dish to be changed and they brought us the same dish, the woman who served us was reluctant.?

Atmosphere was great! Food was amazing! Very big portions on the combination menu! Waiters were very nice and friendly and made you feel cozy. Definitely a big recommend!

Vegetarian options: There's alot of menu items that are vegetarian friendly!

We were there on Taco Tuesday.
Restaurant temp was very warm!!
They wouldn't adjust the temperature in the dining area. We had 10 in our group and everyone was hot.
Tacos were good for $1.49 each
Ordered a frozen margarita which was all blended ice. No lime or tequila taste. All water!!
Told server and got replaced with on the rocks which was much better.
Wouldn't recommend this place.
Very limited parking but free valet parking.

Excellent Service, friendly staff and great food!

I ordered asada and pastor tacos, but neither had flavor. And they had recommended the place to me because the food there tastes good.

The food is delicious, a good variety of sea and land foods, cold beer, little variety at the bar, only tequila and whiskey.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The food is so great granted I have only had the tacos, rice and margarita.( Dine in, and delivery)I get so excited about the vegetarian tacos. The green sauce is my favorite but the red isn't bad. I also love that even when I got a server once who didn't speak English well her coworker supported her and really affordable. The margarita is a little creeper. I just wish they had sauce options when ordering delivery so I could get extra sauce that I chooses. I will absolutely continue to go.

Today at noon I went to eat with my family, the waitress who served us, from the beginning with a very bad attitude, as if we were her enemies, we finished eating, and she never returned to the table, we needed more drinks for our children , she passed by the table where we were many times and didn't even look at us, we had to call another waitress who was very kind and ask who the person was who was serving us, she told us it was another girl, we asked her the bill and came back again to leave the bill, we waited longer and they never came back for the bill. My husband had to get up to the cashier to pay. The waitress gave my husband a very bad attitude when he was paying the bill, the food was very delicious
