Wanted to like it here, but my breakfast was bad. I went shortly after opening on a Saturday morning, and the biscuit I ordered was day old at least. Very dry, crumbly and dense — the opposite of what you want from a biscuit you go out for. The bacon jam was nice, but I gave up half way through. The whole thing was too unpleasant. Large crumbs everywhere. I had a black coffee as well. Had that tang that’s pretty off-putting in coffee. Went to PJ’s afterwards for a tang-free coffee. The staff are nice and chatty. Shame about the food — or biscuit and coffee. I’d steer clear of both. Also the first table I sat at wobbled a lot. Why do restaurants let that stuff go? Hard to enjoy breakfast with sloshed coffee all over your plate. My impression was nice people, poor execution.

WOW! What a hidden place in plain sight. Located in kenner along the river this place was lovely. 3 tables outside with chairs and plenty of seating inside. Serving coffee and booze with delicious food what a better way to start your morning. I had the BBLT while it wasn't my favorite it was good. A really good balance between sweet and salty. I will be back to try another dish soon!

Debbie’s on the Levee is hands-down the best brunch spot I’ve ever been to! The retro vibe is pure perfection. Big ol’ TV, board games, and a cozy setup that feels like stepping back in time, but in the best way possible. It’s adorable, welcoming, and has serious character.
But the real showstopper? The food! Every single dish was executed flawlessly—fresh, flavorful, and bursting with creativity. The presentation is top-notch; everything looks like it belongs in a magazine. Plates are beautifully plated with such care and artistry that it’s almost too pretty to eat… almost. Chef’s kiss to the entire kitchen team—every bite was perfection.
The service was warm and friendly, adding to the overall gem of an experience. If you’re anywhere near Kenner (or willing to make the trip), do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it—this place is special. Can’t wait to come back! Highly, highly recommend. ❤️

Could be better on the breakfast end . . Little expensive for the area when dots is down the street along with few others . My biscuit was dry and crumbly. Couldn't eat my biscuit sandwich was way to big and fell apart .
The actual cooked food was great . The girl cook was excellent. Display great , can't say spending 50 bucks for breakfast for two is a good thing . Dots is 10 to 12 bucks . A person
Smaller portions , smaller price would work out . Those cakes look yummy tho .

One of my favorite things to do while traveling for work is trying “hole in the wall “ spots and the hospitality and food here was tremendous!

What ever charm it might have had when we walked in, disappeared when we had to wait almost an hour to get our food. Without letting us know beforehand that we would have to wait this long. Only to get my order wrong. When I asked if I was going to have to wait for an additional hour for my food, the server said at least 15 minutes. By the time my food came, it had to be put in a to go box because my husband had already finished his breakfast and we had to go. So, no I’m not happy. They did not try to make it right to get my business again for their mistake.
An apology would have gone a long way. Very disappointed for the long wait and poor customer recovery. No empathy whatsoever.

Listen I never leave reviews. The service and food were so good I felt I HAD to leave a review. The atmosphere is refreshing and creative. It gets crowded when busy but it doesn't feel like it. The staff are kind and look diverse and cool. The lady with the dreads is very helpful and nice. There is a tall gentleman there aswell who is on point with service and communication. I really appreciate this place. The food was absolutely delicious and presentation was beautiful.
