El Paso Mexican Grill is a popular restaurant known for its good food and strong drinks. Customers can enjoy the lively ambiance and music at any of the restaurant's locations. The menu offers gluten-free options, with corn tortillas available for quesadillas and fajitas. Many customers have enjoyed their meals, such as taco salad with shredded chicken and steak fajitas, especially on Sundays with two-for-one margaritas. Recent visits have shown that the pork Carnitas and chicken fajitas are quite good, and all bar drinks are very good. Diners also appreciate the warm and welcoming staff, with service often praised. The vibe and service are considered among the best around, with the owners and family being very kind. Customers enjoy listening to bands while eating delicious food and note that the restaurant provides a very nice dining experience. While some have expressed that the food isn't quite as good as the El Paso on vets or the Metairie location, the overall atmosphere and service remain positive and enjoyable. Some menu items, like fried ice cream and banana foster dessert, have been missed since they were removed, but the sopapias are still seen as delicious. Despite some concerns over food quality and service since the COVID-19 pandemic, many find the restaurant to be a lively spot to enjoy good food and drinks. The restaurant has a pleasant dining experience, with large servings and a warm bean dip served with salsa. However, some customers have noted that the lack of staff can lead to long waits for food, and some have found the food to be bland. Despite these concerns, others still recommend the restaurant for its friendly atmosphere and Thursday night live entertainment.
