Food was great. Drinks were strong. Decor could use an update. Biggest thing was the music was very loud. We almost thought we had went to a club versus a restuarant. Love music but not to the point that we can't hear one another sitting at the same table of a restaurant.

I have got food from this restaurant many times. in my last take out tge beans were bad I mean spoiled. I called the restaurant back and the lady said tge manager were already gone for the day to call the next morning. I called the day after just to hear that the manager did not agree with me. like if I was lying. why would I do that if I take out many times? The manager are irresponsable, they don't care for public health or improve their business.

This places doesn't look like much from the outside, but often that is where you can find the best hidden gems. This is one of those places. Although it is a little run down and could use some updating, the food is terrific. I had the coktail de cameron (shrimp cocktail) and bistek encebollado (skirt steak with grilled onion) and both were surprisingly very delicious and well seasoned. The steak had a lot of flavor and was cooked to perfection. I haven't had Mexican/Central American food this good in a while.If you are staying close to New Orleans airport give them a try.
