I am so disappointed in Gambino’s! I order over $100 of king cakes every year for the past 10 years and have them shipped to WA where I live now. For some reason when I did my online order this year, my fillings weren’t added for my 3 pack. The order had been completed, and there is no option to edit or cancel it. I sent a message through the site and I called and left a message. No one from Gambino’s responded back to me. My order was to ship out Monday. I called this morning (Monday) to see about fixing my order or getting a refund, and I was told over and over to read their “frequently asked questions” in which she referred to as policies. I told her regardless of that, Gambino’s needs to have a way to edit or cancel an order that the customer had accidentally ordered wrong. She kept saying “right, right”. I said, “yes, you need to make this right” She basically agreed their “policy” is wrong but too bad, she wasn’t going to help me get the correct order or s refund. She also told me there wasn’t any admin above her, so it ended there. I read on the site that the Gambino Guarantee, “if it ain’t right, we’ll make it right!” But y’all didn’t make it right, and now you’ve lost a loyal customer!

Ordered 2 king cakes that were shipped to me in Texas. Received them in 2 days and wasn’t sure what to expect but these were by far my FAVORITE king cakes of all time. They were fresh and absolutely delicious. You do put the icing and sugar on yourself and they give you plenty of icing so it’s perfect!! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for this cake any time of year. Ordered off season in September. Pricey, especially the shipping but worth it.

Order a king cake from out of state it came in a day late look like it has been thrown around like a football all toward the pieces was hoping that he would at least taste good. The cake was very dry all tasting like it had been in the freezer, supposed to be strawberry and cream cheese filling, barely had no flavor to it. Very awful.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. I ordered a king cake, and not only did it arrive late, but it also came in a regular cardboard box with zero insulation or temperature control. This wouldn’t be as big of a deal if it didn’t contain cream cheese—which, for obvious reasons, should not be sitting at room temperature for hours, let alone however long it took to get to me.
To make matters worse, their so-called “three-day freshness window” is a joke. My cake arrived on the last possible day, meaning I had less than 24 hours to eat it before it was technically “expired.” But let’s be real—I wasn’t about to risk food poisoning for a $60 cake that showed up warm.
When I called customer service, I was met with nothing but rudeness and indifference. Their response? Too bad, so sad. They basically told me it arrived “on time,” so I should just eat it anyway. Oh, sure—let me just ignore basic food safety and hope for the best! The lack of care, professionalism, and basic customer service was appalling.
I wasted $60 on a cake I refuse to touch, and this company couldn’t care less. Save your money and order from literally anywhere else.

So these are photos of a recent cake from Gambinos. Unacceptable. Cheap product - all dry cake and no icing. There is only a light layer of icing - more like a dusting. Cut into it and there is no icing and flavor - only dry cake. And $20 for this. Waste of money - never Gambinos again.

1st time visitor. Celebrated Thanksgiving in New Orleans and didn't want to bake anything. We were out shopping and happen to drive by. Glad we stopped, the employees were friendly and the cake taste great.
These guys here are awesome very communicative and will take listen when you give them ideas on way to load a truck
