I have been going to Kenner Seafood for over 20 yrs. The food is always fabulous and the servers are kind and friendly. Kaki is always there to welcome us with a smile. She is professional and always makes sure our dining experience is very enjoyable!!! Trudy and Penny are always there to answer our questions about catering needs. I had raw oysters that were fresh and good, the Horseradish was great takenyour breath away. The seafood gumbo was good, next I ordered redfish and shrimp blackened with cajun potatoes and coleslaw with jalapeno hushpuppys. The fish and shrimp had no blackened taste, the fish was overcooked and dry the shrimp were ok. The potatoes were said to be spicy on the menu not spicy, the hushpuppys didn't have any jalapeno flavor. This was my experience. I will not return. I will...
Was hoping for a quick hit of local food. I did get that. But also got over-battered and over-cooked oysters, and canned green beans fixed up to be palatable. Bit of a disappointment.
Prices are lower than average for the area, but quality is lower as well. :-(
