This is the worst restaurant experience I've had after a year of living in New Orleans.
The business smells like sewage, and strongly.
I still made the mistake of trying the food. It was not fresh and cost 50% more than other Honduran places in the area (Los Catrachos #1), and it made my girlfriend and I sick.
I brought the food back and explained the problem. They told me that they'd refund me for one chicken and plantain plate because too much of the other one was eaten.
The two baleadas I hadn't even touched were not eligible for refund.
Frustrating, but a small price to pay to find out where NOT to eat.

I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good atmosphere and quality pupusas. From the start, the service was disappointing—the waitress was inattentive, constantly on her phone, and had a bad attitude even as I was placing my order. To make matters worse, she removed my food and drinks before I was finished, making me feel unwelcome, as if she wanted me to leave. When I asked for the check, she ignored me multiple times, forcing me to repeat myself three times. This level of disrespect is unacceptable, and I will not be returning. Although I would love to say the pupusas were amazing apart from the sauce that tasted like ketchup everything else was great.

To the owner of the Kitchen, if he plans to continue operating for years to come, he should train the person on the phone making the orders, he has no professionalism or friendliness at all. A few days ago I called to order a roast beef while I was explaining to the lady, she tells me yes, yes, I already know what she's ordering, but it's ugly that way you don't talk to the most important person in the world who is the customer, it's stressful as a customer, don't treat yourself as important.

Recently we went with my family to eat there again. The truth is that I was very upset. Nothing to see. The food looked good visually, but the taste. Nothing to see. The music was very loud. Before, it was a very good place. Today, I don't recommend it.
