Definitely visit during off-peak hours for the best experience; this place is always busy!

While we were visiting New Orleans, I asked our daughter and her husband to take us someplace we hadn’t been before. They suggested Little Chinatown, as the food was excellent.
They were right. The place is right off the main avenue in Kenner, easy to get to. Parking was adequate, there was plenty of seating, and friendly staff seated us, took our order and brought out our food quickly.
Appetizers we got were the pot stickers and Edamame. The deep fried pot stickers were just right. My wife may have finished off the Edamame herself; I never got one, but she said they were perfect.
I had the Sesame chicken, my wife had the General Tso Chicken. We did some sharing across plates. The sesame chicken was covered in a sweet honey sauce, liberally sprinkled with sesame. The General Tso chicken was expected to have some heat to it. Most pieces on the generous portion had only a hint, but those deeper in had some bite. Both dishes were fabulous, and we left stuffed and happy.

My go-to order is the salted fish and chicken fried rice with the salt toasted squid. Always a must when I'm in Kenner.

Called at 9:30pm. won’t take my order. I thought you’ll closed at 10pm. Just lost a loyal customer.

I don’t understand all of the good reviews. The food was tasteless, we got the sesame chicken and the sweet and sour chicken. Also, it was very apparent the sauce was full of food dye which was very unsettling. Music also sucked, felt like I was in a gas station.

The quality of the food at this restaurant completely depends on whether the owner is present. When the owner is there, the dishes taste good; when the owner is absent, not only does the food quality drop significantly, but the staff also make frequent mistakes.
However, one thing I really dislike is that if something I order is out of stock, they never call to inform me in advance — even when the owner is in the restaurant. They always wait until I arrive to tell me, and then come up with all sorts of excuses to brush it off.
Wonderful ! Very interesting menu 😋 I'm trying something different every time I go. !

Crab Rangoons were stale/old, Tofu dish has ZERO flavor, and the chili chicken pieces were gummy pieces of dark meat. Not worth the money.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant for takeout in the Metairie/Kenner area. Service is great and takeout orders are quick to be ready for pickup. They give you large portions and the food is good. They are an above average Chinese takeout joint.
Can’t go wrong with General Tso or Sesame chicken with fried rice. Their shrimp dinners are good too.

The place is about as average as you can get. Food was okay, a lot for what you pay. Server was okay. I would eat here again.

Worst food ever, I’ve never had Chinese food this bad. The general Tao chicken did not remotely resemble or taste like it should, could’ve been edible if it wasn’t nasty and tasteless. The rice tasted like it was box rice as in they used long grain instead of the traditional Chinese sticky rice, again it could’ve have been edible if it at least tasted good. The crab Rangoon and the spring rolls were equally horrible the spring rolls were mushy on the inside. So disappointing I only gave it a 1 star because of Camron and the other lil guy who were amazing servers.
