Food - excellent. Taste & quality superb. Food was on time and well organized. The guys dropping it off were very professional and friendly.
One big "knock" on this company is I feel I was QUITE "over-sold." It's clearly always good to have too much food so as not to run out, but having never planned a party for 100 people (which I mentioned), I had no idea what to order and in what quantities and I completely relied on the expertise of the sales person to help me figure all of that out. She was super nice and responsive, but honestly, we ended up with an EXCESSIVE amount of leftover food, (even though our guests had hearty appetites and ate a lot). I would be careful when ordering because we easily could have spent HALF the amount of money we did, and would have been thoroughly satisfied with the quantity. Again, the food was excellent, well presented and delicious. Was very disappointed in the amount of work I had to put in after the party to transport the excess food to various guest airbnb's so as not to waste what we bought. We ordered way too much. Again, having leftover food can't be avoided sometimes, but this was beyond "leftovers." It was pans and pans and pans of food we had to find homes for, and it was irresponsible of the sales person to suggest the quantity we ended up purchasing. We were completely over-sold and that's the only disappointment.

Messina’s did a fabulous breakfast brunch for my granddaughter’s Bat Mitzvah brunch. The waffles, fried chicken and homemade biscuits were so delicious. The salmon tray was also amazing. The staff is top- notch. I would highly recommend this New Orleans gem of A caterer. Thanks Anna for all your hard work and wonderful suggestions!

It cannot get any better than this. Been traveling there for a few years now from Lake Charles and worth the drive. No worry about buying,, cooking and cleaning. All the food was delicious. We had messina’s catering for our destination wedding in New Orleans. The staff was very attentive and kind. I had planned this event mostly with Kaya, who was wonderful. The staff had food for us at the sweetheart table ready to go, and made SURE we both ate (which is hard to do at a wedding reception). They also did a marvelous job at customizing most of our dishes to be GF, and you literally could not tell at all ( if you know, you know). Everything was divine. And the staff was so, so sweet. 10/10 highly recommend. Thanks so much for everything. It was delicious.
