Every time I go there, I get the exact same thing... Their trout almondine is to die for but friends that I go with rave about their dishes as well. This is the Mister Eds Kenner. The mister Ed's oyster bar in Metairie is a completely different restaurant or at least their recipes are different.
Ordered the onion rings and eggplant appetizers, both were good. The pork chops and cabbage was good, as was the fried shrimp and sweet potato fries, crab cake & pasta and the white beans and rice with sausage.

It’s not as good as the other restaurants, but still very enjoyable. The fries are okay, 3.5 star (so mildly better than average). Onion rings are 4 star, very good.
