Go to Sultans instead where they will actually make you a spicy wrap instead of putting sauce on the side. This place used to be great.

I ordered the kebab platter. The tahini sauce tasted better than any tahini sauce I have tasted. The Greek salad had very fresh lettuce considering it’s a Sunday night when most restaurants serve slightly wilted lettuce. The hamburger shaped kebabs topped with small sticks of pickles and very thinly sliced onions. When dipped it in the garlic sauce, it was delicious. Now that I think about it I wish I would’ve asked for a spoon so I could have gotten more good rice in my mouth. I wanted something light and filling, and I sure got it. I was totally satisfied when I left the place. It was very clean and appealing and the help was very friendly. When I leave Houston to come visit my sister, Shawarma on the Run will definitely be a stop for us.

OMG. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!! Went here a couple of weeks ago. The hummus is the best I have ever had. I am formerly from Calif, and I have had a lot of variations...this is the BEST. Also, the chicken shawarma and grape leaves are wonderful. There's a "smoothness" to the food that is just amazing. There were mostly take out orders while we ate there in a clean, calm environment. Wish they would open a place in the Northshore!!!

My goto Shawarma and gyro spot in this area. Shawarma on the Run is easy to get to and there is never too much a wait to put in a to go order. I also love their Gyro platter and Wraps.

We had: Gyro wrap, steak bowl, and falafel ? sooo delicious! The food on the pics is half eaten since we couldn't wait to try it and it's a miracle we stopped to take pictures! The flavors and the freshness of ingredients were outstanding! You could taste various flavors of rice, meat, sauces and everything was perfectly balanced. All complemented by a very nice and polite young man at the front desk! The place looks very clean and the only regret is that we live far enough not to be able to visit more frequently! We got an extra wrap for tomorrow and we will be back for sure!!!

Food is absolutely delicious! Hummus is especially good. If you like a good shawarma this place (as well as their sister restaurant on magazine) is fantastic. I'd highly recommend both the gyro and chicken platters.
First a major shout out to all the Yelpers who left reviews because you all were the reason I chose this place. After seeing so many good reviews I had to order. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate and it was so delicious!!! The chicken was moist, the hummus had a great flavor (and I don't usually eat hummus but I tore it up), the salad was fresh and the rice was well seasoned and cooked just right. I am so glad that I found this restaurant and can't wait to eat here again!
Good portions. Polite service. Banging music. This is honestly one of my favorite places to eat.
