Brought our silverware in a glass of hot water. Then waitress asked friend if she wanted cheese on her grits and she said yes and waitress brought a plate with 2 slices of cheese on it. WTH? Not sure if all the waffle houses are like this, but this particular one (Kenner)near MSY airport. Weird as heck.
On a positive food was decent and inexpensive. We prob should have run out as I wondered if silverware was clean????

Waiter barely acknowledged me, never brought the check over when I was finished!! Had to go to counter to finally get the bill@! Never once did he ask how the food was!! Poor SERVICE ! Food was good.

I strongly advise the General Manager to reconsider their morning crew. It is unlikely that I am the only individual who would prefer to drive an additional 15 or more minutes to a different Waffle House rather than attempt to visit this location, which is filled with rude and disrespectful waitresses.

We walked in as a group of three people, my partner went to the restroom. It took long enough for someone to come to our table to even introduce themselves, and the place and two other people in it.. our waitress asked if we was ready for our order and I mentioned my partner went to the restroom and she is pregnant, I asked for waters for us, and the waitress responded by saying I won’t let you run me. And my buddy asked for waters too and she said you heard what I said. I was so in disbelief. We left. I will never go back.

Horrible location, have been to to many Waffle House locations across the US and this is by far the worse, every member of the staff had horrible attitudes and were a very dysfunctional crew, arguing the whole time using foul language, cook station was disgusting, coffee was basically dark water, not a single employee had a hair net on or even pulled back with hair swinging everywhere and a couple were constantly digging in the their hair without washing their hands once, wouldn’t eat here again if it was free.
I went to the West Esplanade location the day after Francine. I have never experienced a staff of people so loud, common, and unprofessional! There were four people working, all screaming loudly about personal business and things unrelated to providing decent service to their customers. They were using foul language, two of them were using their phones while on the line (cross contamination), and the lack of customer service was inexcusable. I sat for so long a staff asked my server, Kim, if my order had been taken and Kim began to be confrontational with me. I had to tell her that I was not the one who asked the question. She had never called my order out because she was too busy yelling about personal issues. Three people came in behind me, received their food and left. Instead of any kind of apology, Kim issued an excuse that someone had ordered 15 plates, which was not true, but still didn't explain why people that came behind me had received meals and left. I could go on with some of the egregious behavior, but it is safe to say that I will not return and will warn friends and listeners on my radio and Podcast platforms not to patronize this location.

The cashier employee working 9/9/24 ….5:18am was very rude , refused to give me a large drink like I paid for, recieved a small so I asked for 2 small he refused an was very nonchalant. The cook was helpful. Cashier needs better customer service training.
