I could feel that I wasn't welcomed there. They took my order didn't give me a receipt and when i said thank you the girl just looked at me. Shrimp fried rice was greasy and the boneless chicken was batter and a tiny pieces of chicken. I would never recommend or return.

Super yummy and it was my first time eating demsum or however you say or spell it lol. It was suggested to me by a friend and boy he an they didn't disappoint at all very good food an lived up to ots name Yummy house👍

This is some of the best Asian food I've ever had. The flavor is so rich and bold but not over seasoned. I drive 2 hours to eat here and it's worth every minute. I love their pan fried noodle dishes but the clay pot dinners are out of this world delicious.

This order was placed through Uber eats. I do know that the entre I ordered is way better fresh, but it sounded really good at the moment😅 1. General Tso's Chicken w/ fried rice and 1 egg roll 2. 1 order of egg rolls (2) 3. Lemonade -The egg rolls were pretty good warm a nd crunchy -The fried rice was decent but lacking on egg -the lemonade was pretty perfect ( not too sweet and a little tart) -the Gen Tso's Chicken had a decent flavor but not really spicy Overall, I enjoyed it for the most part. I wish I could have visited the restaurant, but wasn't able to. Hopefully next time I'll stop in🙂

Poor inattentive service & the food was mediocre. I took advantage of the $10.99 lunch menu, but the waitress took the liberty to charge me $13.99 for the combo without even asking me!!!!!!!!! So unprofessional!!!!!!!!!! Never again!!!!!!!!!

Today, we went to yummy house for lunch. I think they had changed the owner or the chef. Food was terrible, especially the dim sum, taste like just heat up the frozen ready dim sum which we can easily buy from asian supermarket. Definitely not the handmade dim sum that used to be served. If we pay this price for the frozen dim sum, i think we can buy tons of these frozen dim sum from the supermarket and heat it up on our own. This is totally ripped off. I would never go back to this restaurant again.

Now THIS is a great dim sum place! Although there aren’t any carts being pushed out like at Panda King in Gretna, all of the food was still fresh and tasty. Service was quick with our orders. The inside was clean and had enough seating, in contrast to Dian Xin in New Orleans. My mom and I tried about 8 of their dim sum options. All of them were really good, but I'd personally recommend their Crispy Taro Dumpling with Pork & Shrimp ($5.99), Shrimp Dumplings with Scallops ($8.95), and Salted Egg Buns ($6.99). For the quality of the dishes, I'd say it's worth trying. With pun intended, Yummy House in Kenner is YUMMY!
*I do want to note that their dim sum pricing is located on their dim sum sheet instead of the menu, as they base it on sizing. That can be a bit confusing, so I do want to let you guys know that.

Yummy House isn't top-tier like Panda King and feels a bit tight, but it's easier to reach and less crowded. I go here for dim sum when I want to avoid traffic. They don't have a lot of options and service can be slow, but the staff is welcoming and they're cool with solo diners. It's a decent alternative for a less busy meal.
