Steakhouses in Kinder, LA

“Tried this restaurant inside Coushatta while visiting and attending a concert and it did not disappoint. We made a reservation well in advance due to the concert. Server brought rolls with some butter and pepper jam which were excellent. We started out with french onion soup and a small chopped salad to share and both were delightful. The french onion soup was very close to some of the best I have ever had. For my entree, I ordered the fried chicken which came with mashed potatoes with gravy ( gravy had small pieces of tender roast in it) and some corn coblets. This was a very excellent sleeper meal inside a steak house. My wife ordered the crab cake and sweet potatoes which she said were just okay. The sweet potatoes could have had more brown sugar to my liking. For desert, we got the strawberry butter cake trio and it did not disappoint. Normally, I would typically order steak but I had steak two nights earlier in the week. I did look around at some dishes that others had and the lamb chops looked great and the steaks and baked potatoes looked fabulous!! We will definitely eat here every visit to Coushatta!!!“
