Excellent little secret food hideout! Had the roast beef po’ boy with gravy... what a delicious mess!! Everyone in my group thoroughly enjoyed items from this amazing menu (smoked chicken, BBQ) and the service treated us like family- will definitely have to come back!

I love Char-Lou's. It's a long standing Lacombe institution, owned and operated by a Lacombe family. My favorite place to eat. Phenomenal food at unbeatable prices, always served with a smile. Their smoked ribs are incredible. And their fried chicken kicks anything from a from a fast-food joint into the weeds. It even beats the Legendary "Willie Mae's Scotch House" in New Orleans hands down, in my opinion.Order it in advance of your arrival if you can, because it's cooked to order.Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
