When I first walked in I loved the Simplicity of the restaurant. You're there to eat and that's what the focus is on. The smell coming out of the kitchen was absolutely amazing. The menu was simple but elegant and all of the options had my mouth watering. I made my selection and just a few minutes later it was being served. The Philly cheesesteak with chicken was so full of flavor that I could have probably eaten a second one. This was definitely worth venturing out of Broussard for lunch. I'm already planning another trip back.

This place has REAL BBQ, which is pretty rare in Lafayette and always has been for some reason. The smoke smell tells you this when you walk in. I had the brisket sandwich this trip, which was crafted with care, and it showed. The taste was amazing, and I'll keep going back!

Long time Facebook follower and finally made a visit today. No regrets. Loved the atmosphere. Love the look of the inside. The back patio was wonderful on a beautiful day. There was someone who came check on us after we ate, he was so friendly. My first college apartment was in Freetown so I love seeing a gem like this place in the area. We’ll be back!!

This place genuinely exceeded my expectations in every aspect!! I still can’t stop thinking about it! I found out about them through the Foodies of Lafayette page and people did not lie. We tried the Pork Belly Bahn Mi (which alone is such a fun, creative menu item for a place like this) and 3 portion BBQ plate. NOTHING disappointed, good LAWD. I also honestly feel like the BBQ plate is extremely fairly priced for how much high quality food you get. We tried the prime brisket, pork, and st.Louis ribs and everything was incredible. Also some of THE best corn maque choux I’ve ever had as a side. The pork belly bahn mi was also obviously as good as the pictures looked. Aside from the food, the atmosphere is incredibly stylish and comfortable, with a modern vintage look, nice spacious seating, and incredible bathrooms. The customer service was top notch too! Everyone was incredibly helpful and seemed so passionate and hard working, always staying attentive and busy. I genuinely feel so lucky to have experienced something so refreshing in so long, it’s been so rare to find a gem like this!

I'm not sure where the BBQ was on the BBQ I ordered, but I'm certainly glad we decided to share one plate. Hey, without bbq sauce, it's just called smoked/grilled (FYI). The rice dressing is dry and the beans just nasty, like they dropped the liquid smoke! The brisket and sausage was good, but not worth what I paid good ! After experiencing this, I'm sure Superette will never be on my go to list again!
Fresh food, best fries, quick and the people that work there take pride in what they are cooking!!!

Food was so flavorful and fresh. We enjoyed 3 sandwiches, the Bahn Mi, a hamburger, and a brisket sandwich. All were delicious, but the brisket was extra special. Smokey flavor, just the right level, on delicious toast w grilled onions!!!! Being in a neighborhood brings a special ambiance to the location and the inside is simple, with original touches still in the building. Love this place and wish you many years of success!

We had a very good lunch there today. The chopped beef and the Melt were delicious. And the hand cut fries were great, some with parm and some without. I look forward to going there again and trying the burger and other sides!
