Small place in a strip mall. Independently owned with huge portions and delicious food. My mom and I shared a shrimp po' boy and Muffalatta baskets. Both were good. Ask if you can get a little extra olive relish if you want to only taste it. I thought it was perfect but my mom thought she'd have liked a bit more of the relish. Kind of a hole in the wall. Was not sure to expect, but good quality, larger portions and reasonable prices. Family business. They don't, at first blush, look like they would be the folks making this wonderful food, but let the food do the talking.
I haven't had a shrimp poboy in probably 20 years. I got a sudden hankering for one and popped into Acadiana PoBoys based on the reviews. Folks aren't lying! The shrimp poboy is absolutely delicious. Tons of tasty shrimp and soft French bread. I'm a little concerned about how close they are to my house because I don't need to gain weight, but I will definitely be going back 😄
