First off the service was phenomenal! Kamryn went above and beyond! The food was so fresh and came out fast. Drinks were so good. This was my first time coming here but I definitely will be back to try more stuff off the menu!

I had the special BBQ chicken quesadilla, advertised on their board that week. It was extraordinary. But the waitress got the order wrong at first and brought me the ordinary quesadilla. She apologized and got me the right one pretty quickly. Mrs. had the shrimp wrap, very good. I ordered a Coke, but I think she brought me a Diet Coke, so I sent it back. Got the Abita Amber beer instead. So, friendly service but uneven, delicious food, nice clean place. I would go there again, but I'll be sure to clarify my order before it is brought. (Side note, the couple next to us verified that they heard me say "BBQ quesadilla, so that felt good." )

My husband and I visited a few months back, and it was one of the most unwelcoming dining experiences ever. We had been to other locations without issues, but everything was off that night. We arrived at 9:15 PM on a Saturday when they were supposed to close at 10 PM. As soon as we sat down on the patio, a waiter came over to the table, and the first thing he said was that we needed to order within the next five minutes because they were closing their kitchen. He didn't even greet us and made us question whether we should leave. He came in way too hot.We quickly decided on our food options and awkwardly sat around as the rest of the staff started to swarm around us, clearing all the patio furniture, sweeping, and giving us looks like they wanted us out of their way. It was bizarre, considering it was nowhere near their posted closing time. My husband ordered a burrito, which was decent, and I ordered brisket nachos. The nachos were costly and quite pitiful. About nine circular Cisco tortillas chips on a plate, lightly sprinkled with some meat, cheese and veggies. The chip resembled what I would expect a "nacho hors d'oeuvre" to look like being doled out at a party. Not only were we so rushed that we finished our food before 940, but the place was pretty much shut down at that point. I'm not sure what the staff did with their extra 20 minutes before closing time, but I would never recommend waiting around to find out. We literally felt like they were gonna sweep us out with their brooms.Unacceptable, particularly for a new location. I tipped 25% and got out of there as fast as I could. I actually felt resentment for having to pay money to feel terrible, but I didn't want my lack of gratuity to be an excuse for their poor treatment.We definitely will never return to this location, despite it being a more convenient drive for us. There are way better Mexican food restaurants in Lafayette, with much better service.
