I've lived in Lafayette my whole life, I've always known about Alesi's but I went for the first time last night and I have a new favorite place to go. The food was amazing, literally the best pizza I've ever had! My friend got the lasagna and said it was amazing as well. The atmosphere was great as well as the service. Don't make the same mistake I did and overlook this amazing spot.

Canned mushrooms, flavorless white onions, cardboard pizza crust, slightly tasty sauce. An average frozen pizza would be comparable and cost, significantly, less. How is this place still open after all these years? If you grew up on this below average pizza and still eat here, head downtown to Central Pizza immediately and discover what pizza should be. Time to retire, Alesi.

If you're upset at your taste buds then come here to punish them. The only nice thing I can say is the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming. But the food should not be served to anyone. The house salad is chock full of stale, oversalted ham and salami that are borderline inedible. The pizza is definitely worse than a frozen pizza. The vegetable toppings came out of a can and they didn't get any cook time on top of the pizza. The dough was flat, the sauce was flavorless, and the cheese didn't get brown. The pasta dishes were more or less on par of blandness.
Oh, I didn't forget about the decor. The ceiling is stained, deformed, water damaged, and appears to have survived 3 generations. While this review may seem excessively negative, this was truly an unforgettable experience in an abhorrent way. I do wish they turn things around. No idea how it has survived this long.

The most welcoming restaurant we’ve been to in Lafayette so far! Our waitress, Jacie (not sure if I spelt that right) was very kind and so accommodating throughout our visit. The lasagna and spaghetti were absolutely delicious. Don’t forget the chicken and cheese salad, the best salad we’ve ever had!

Hey...if you're from here then you know. For new comers, out of towners, self pro claimed foodies & Lafayette citizens if you haven't gone already what the hell are you doing....more support for the locally owned people. One of the pizzerias in town & say because I'm sure Alesi's would concur they ain't the only ones with a mouth watering menu...but they most def in the top 3. Love you guys.

Service was great but food was bland. I ordered spaghetti and meetballs and it was very bland. Did not taste bad just bland. Also the sauce was a little watery reminded me of from speghity tv dinners but worse. We also orded pizza and it had no flavor. We also orded ravioli and the sauce was bland as well and reminded us of chef boyarde ravioli.
