There is no better pizza than BJ’s! The crust is perfect, the toppings are always fresh and the customer service is impossible to beat! When we want pizza, BJ’s is the only place for us!

We came for lunch yesterday and everything was fantastic!!! Our waitress was amazing and I requested my cheese to be less dark and the chefs did a fabulous job!! There was so much cheese on my pizza as requested and it was the best pizza I’ve ever had!!! Will definitely be back! Been a bjs customer since childhood!

BJ's has been one of my favorite pizzas of all time and we ate it regularly growing up. We didn't eat it nearly as much when I moved to Lafayette as an adult but when they announced they were closing I was bummed out.
After coming under new ownership they have had quite the glow up! They've kept some of the same aesthetic but brought it just a bit more upscale. You now go to a hostess who seats you and have a server that comes to your table and takes your order. It also looks like they've expanded the menu from a few entrees to several po-boys and even a burger!
Overall, they have kept the same amazing pizza and made it better!

I ordered take out, 2 pizza, sings and shrimp burger, the shrimp use to be fresh shrimp but now appears to be frozen battered shrimp that was overcooked and hard. Both the top and bottom buns were burn and not edible. Go back to real local shrimp and not this cheap stuff. Yuk!?

My wife and I visited BJ's just after the re-opening and were... disappointed... But, after visiting a second time I got a better picture of how it will be going forward with the kinks seemingly worked out. The pizza is good, although different from the original, maybe a different vendor for the cheese or the sauce, or maybe a slightly tweaked recipe. Visually I could tell immediately that the pizza was not the same. After a second visit I concluded that while it is good, it's not great as it previously was. As for the service I would say it's ok as well, gone are the days of counter service and self serve drinks and here is table service. While I personally liked the previous way things were done I have no gripes with table service other than the staff could be a bit more attentive rather than chatting at the counter. Overall the new BJ's has some of the old, some new and still good food.

I've been patronizing this restaurant for years. Decades, to be specific. I will always have a place in my heart for it, not only from the Nostalgia of my younger years, but how much it did to take care of my family when my sister-in-law's father was killed during a delivery.
That said, I am not impressed yet with the new owners. People need to be trained a bit better over there. It's bad enough when all delivery orders are now being funneled through a cold website. But, when said website tells that my home, which has been within delivery range since the place opened (I've ordered my grandparents', six blocks away), I get understandably annoyed. Yet, when I called to ask if this was correct, the staffer HAD NO IDEA. Worse, she did not make even the pretense of acting apologetic, or willingness to find out, or interest in my business.
I went to contact management via Facebook, but when looking for BJ's Pizza and Deli on Facebook, or even BJ's Pizza and Deli Lafayette LA, the place doesn't appear at all.
To their credit, someone apparently did just try to call me in the intervening time, but by then, the leftovers (in which I wasn't interested) were already warming. It will be awhile before I try them out again.

Great family place. Quick pizza. Always good. Favorite for years. The staff is always very friendly. Edit update: Pizza is better now. Crust is better, the sauce and cheese are great. Also, no carpet! It's clean and fantastic.
